Stunning Aldo Rizzini
Signed and Master Game Scene Relief Engraved Mauser Model 66S Bolt
Action Rifle - Serial no. SG46665, 270 Win cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue/bright
finish, walnut stock. Built with a blued steel barrel featuring a ramped blade fore sight, Williams rear
sight (notch absent) on the dovetail mounting rail, 1979 dated German proof marks, and the “Original/
MAUSER” logo on the top of the chamber area. The barrel is mated with the telescoping action which features a polished bright
bolt carrier, which is deep relief engraved with a running red stag and hind in a forest scene on the left side and a pair of running
wild boars in a forest scene on the right. The action/bolt carrier show standard markings, an import mark, and blued bolt release and
safety mechanisms. The trigger guard is polished bright and shows lovely scroll engraving and protects the double set triggers.
The engraving is signed “ARizzini” for Italian Master Engraver Aldo Rizzini. The rifle is fitted in an attractively figured multi-point
checkered pistol grip stock with rosewood forend tip and grip cap with white line spacers, a set of sling swivels, a Bavarian style
cheekpiece, and a rubber Pachmayr White-Line recoil pad. Includes the original factory test target.
CONDITION: Very fine as engraved by Aldo Rizzini, retaining 99% original blue finish with minor handling evidence. There are a few cracks coming off
the front of the trigger guard; otherwise, the wood is very fine with minor marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved Flaig’s Retailed Ludwig Borovnik Bolt Action Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 40.2921, 7x57 mm cal., 24 inch
solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Built with a blued octagon and round solid ribbed barrel with ramped beaded blade fore sight and absent
rear sight dovetail on the matted integral solid rib which is marked “Flaigs-Millvale-Pa”, front sling swivel, 1968 dated Ferlach proof marks, and Borovnik’s
“40.2921” serial number. The barrel is fitted to the blued Mauser action which displays beautifully executed oak leaf engraving, matching proof marks,
checkered bolt handle, and a Redfield 3-9x scope. The action has a flag safety and tang
mounted “stalking” safety. The blued bottom metal features oak leaf engraving with
coin accents and coin finished hinged lever-release floorplate with oak leaf engraving
surrounding a roaring red stag at the center. The rifle is fitted with a beautifully figured
and skip-line checkered stock with rear sling swivel, pancake cheekpiece, and horn
forend tip, grip cap, and buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor
handling evidence, some insect holes in the buttplate, and crisp checkering on the stock. Mechanically excellent. The scope optics are mostly clear.

Michelitsch Bolt Action Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 4134.69, 6.5x57 cal., 22 inch round
bbl., blue/coin grey finish, walnut stock. Manufactured circa 1969 and subsequently embellished by Ferlach maker Joh.
Michelitsch. Built with a blued Bohler Rasant steel barrel featuring a ramped beaded blade foresight, fixed notch rear sight,
front sling swivel, “JOH. MICHELITSCH, FERLACH-AUSTRIA” marked on top, and Nock’s form where the front of the scope attaches. The barrel is fitted
to the coin grey finished Mannlicher-Schoenauer action which displays attractive oak leaf engraving over a matted background and features a coin
grey bolt body with engraved butter knife handle, import mark, blued safety and cocking piece, double set triggers, and the rear claw mount for the Swarovski Habicht Nova
6x42 mm scope. The floorplate shows more oak leaf engraving surrounding a majestic deep carved red stag and the blued trigger guard shows oak leaves and a gold three
letter monogram. The rifle is fitted with a handsomely figured pistol grip stock with Schnabel forend, fish scale texturing at the forend and wrist, carved grip cap, Bavarian style cheekpiece,
rear sling swivel, and a Pachmayr recoil pad.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% blue finish with loss around the front scope base, 98% coin grey, some dried grease on the action, some minor dings and scratches, light handling evidence,
and crisp texturing on the stock. The set trigger is extremely light; otherwise, mechanically excellent. The scope optics are clear.
