Exceptional Factory Bodson and Dujardin Signed, Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Belgian Browning 20 Gauge Midas Grade
Superposed Skeet Shotgun with Box - Serial no. 6037V75, 20 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1975. Built with blued steel barrels featuring a dual white bead sights on the matted flat vent rib, standard
markings, wedges of scroll engraving at the breech, “**$”/”**$” (skeet/skeet) chokes, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic
ejectors. The barrel is fitted to the blued action which displays full coverage scroll engraving on punch-dot background surrounding
game bird scenes showing a trio of pheasants on the left, three mallards on the right, and a grouse on the underside. The birds
are rendered in fine semi-relief gold inlay with gold inlaid borders around the scenes on the sides of the action. The trigger guard
and tangs are engraved with matching scroll and checker board patterns, with a blank initial shield at the center of the guard. The
engraving is signed “M.BODSON” on both sides of the action beneath the scenes and “J.DUJARDIN” on either side at the low rear for
the FN engravers that completed it. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted manual safety/selector with gold inlaid
“S”, “O”, and “U” indicators. The gun is fitted with a highly figured, Midas Grade pattern multi-point checkered beavertail forend with
engraved iron as well as a long tang pistol grip stock with factory recoil pad. Includes the original factory box. Barrel and stock
measurements: bore diameter nine inches from the breech .622/.622 inches; choke constriction .003/.003 inches; minimum wall
thickness .035/.034 inches; 1 5/16 inch drop at comb; 1 13/16 inch drop at heel; 14 3/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 6 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and gold finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on
the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with some tape repairs, tears, and wear.

Scarce Factory Alphonse Marechal Signed and Engraved Belgian Browning 28 Gauge Diana Grade Superposed
Shotgun - Serial no. 097F73, 28 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/French grey finish, walnut stock. The 28 gauge
Superposed was introduced in 1963, with this gun being manufactured in 1973. Built with blued Special Steel barrels
featuring a single nickel bead sight on the matted vent rib, light engraving at the upper breech, chokes marked “**-
”/”**” (improved cylinder/modified), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the French grey
finished action which is engraved in the Diana Grade pattern with flowing scroll designs surrounding four game scenes
depicting a flock of mallards in a marsh on the right, a nide of pheasants in a wooded scene on the left, a pair of quail on
the underside, and a pair of rabbits on the trigger guard all in fine detail with matted backgrounds creating contrast. The
engraving is signed “AMARECHAL” on left side below the scene for FN engraver Alphonse Marechal. The gun features a
single gold trigger and tang mounted safety/selector with gold “S”, “O”, and “U” indicators. The gun is fitted with a lovely
highly-figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved iron and a long tang pistol grip stock with a Browning
buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .548/.549 inches; choke
constriction .006/.012 inches; minimum wall thickness .040/.035 inches; 1 5/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/16 inch drop at
heel; 14 3/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 8 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and French grey finishes with minor handling evidence, a tiny
flake at the left of the stock head, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
