Two Roger Sampson Signed and Engraved 1/2 Scale Miniature Belgian Browning Renaissance Semi-
Automatic Pistols -A) Miniature Belgian Browning Renaissance High-Power Pistol - Serial no. 026, 2 3/8
inch round bbl., nickel/gold finish, pearlite grips. Manufactured c. 1990s to 2000s as approximately 1/2 scale,
non-firing miniatures. Features properly scaled fixed sights, simulated two-line FN and Browning markings on
the left side of the slide, functional slide catch, magazine release, hammer, thumb safety, and trigger mechanism,
along with Belgian Browning Renaissance pattern floral scroll engraving covering most of the frame and
slide, with the front strap signed “R. SAMPSON 112” for Master Engraver Roger Sampson. Matching “026”
serial numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel. Fitted with a pair of pearlite grips and a nickel plated
magazine. Includes five correctly scaled dummy cartridges.
CONDITION: Excellent overall as masterfully embellished by Roger Sampson, retaining 99% nickel
and gold plating with limited minor handling evidence and crisp engraving. The action mechanically
functions. B) Miniature Belgian Browning Renaissance Baby Pistol with Case - Serial no. 4, 1 1/16
inch round bbl., nickel/gold finish, pearlite grips. Manufactured c. 1990s to 2000s. Features properly scaled
fixed sights, simulated two-line Browning marking on the left of the slide, simulated Belgian “star/U” and “lion/
PV” proofs on the frame, slide, and chamber hood, along with functional safety lever, trigger mechanism, and
magazine release. The left side of the frame is signed “R SAMPSON” for master engraver Roger Sampson and has
serial number “4”. Fitted with a pair of smooth pearlite grips and a nickel pated magazine. Includes three correctly
scaled dummy cartridges and a simulated Browning black leather soft case made by Hirsh Kepp.
CONDITION: Excellent overall as masterfully embellished by Roger Sampson, retaining 99% nickel plating and
gold finishes with limited handling evidence along with clear markings and engraving. The magazine release tab
spring is under-powered, otherwise the action mechanically functions. The case is exceptionally fine.

Well-Documented Cased Consecutive Pair of Raymond E. Hutchens
Hand Crafted Fully Functional 1:2 Scale Miniature Swiss SIG P210
Semi-Automatic Pistols Pictured in “Scale Modern Firearms” by
Joseph Kramer -A) R. E. Hutchens Miniature SIG P210 Pistol -
Serial no. P51528, 4 mm cal., 2 3/8 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured by Raymond E. Hutchens (1917-2001) of Indiana c.
1980s-1990s as a consecutive pair of hand crafted fully functional 1/2 scale
miniature Swiss SIG P210 semi-automatic pistols. Each pistol took over a
year to create, utilizing custom jigs, tooling, along with the proper heat
treatments and polishing work in recreating every component as closely
to the full-scale as possible, and the pair is pictured on page 113 of “Scale
Model Firearms” by Joseph D. Kramer. Both pistols feature accurately scaled
fixed serrated blade front and notch rear sights, the Swiss “cross-in shield”
crest in front of the rear sights, “oval/SIG” simulated manufacturer marks on
the left sides of the slides, along with simulated “BP” proofs and color coded
“S/F” marked safety indicators on the left side of the frames. Matching serial
numbers marked on the frame, slides and barrels. Both pistols are fitted
with pairs of checkered walnut grips with proper lanyard swivel cutouts on
the left panels and blued magazines with straw colored followers. Includes
a black leatherette presentation case, marked “J. D. KRAMER/(oval/SIG)/R. E.
HUTCHENS” on the lid plaque, with red felt interior fitted for both pistols,
containing two extra blued magazines and four 4 mm cartridges.
CONDITION: Excellent as masterfully crafted by Raymond Hutchens,
retaining 99% original blue finish with a loose front sight blade, some dried
grease on the barrel, limited minor handling evidence, along with crisp
scaled markings. The grips are also excellent with attractive grain and crisp
scaled checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is exceptionally
fine with some minor storage wear.
B) R. E. Hutchens Miniature SIG P210 Pistol - Serial no. P51529, 4 mm
cal., 2 3/8 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. As described in “A”.
CONDITION: Excellent as masterfully crafted by Raymond Hutchens,
retaining 99% original blue finish with some dried grease on the barrel,
limited minor handling evidence, along with crisp scaled markings. The
grips are also excellent with attractive grain and crisp scaled checkering.
Mechanically excellent.
