Master Steve Kamyk Signed, Factory Class “A” Engraved, and Nickel Plated
Colt Third Generation Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 92535SA, 45 Long Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., nickel
finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1978, the table on page 118 of “The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver 1955-1975”
by Don Wilkerson indicates that this revolver is one of only 8 manufactured in this configuration between 1956 and 1979 with a 7 1/2 inch
barrel in .45 caliber, nickel finish, and class “A” factory engraving. Features fixed blade front and top strap notch rear sights, standard Colt factory
markings, along with Colt factory Class “A” floral pattern scroll engraving with punch-dot backdrops covering 25% of the frame, cylinder, and barrel.
Matching full serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and grip strap, along with a matching “2535” partial serial number on the front of the cylinder,
a matching “535” partial serial number on the loading gate, and “S. KAMYK” marked on the left of the grip strap for Colt Master Engraver
Steve Kamyk, with this revolver made not long after he began his career at Colt. Fitted with a pair of checkered black hard rubber grips
with matching “92535” serial numbers etched on the interiors.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original nickel plating with limited minor handling evidence, clear roll-marks, and crisp engraving.
The grips are also excellent with detailed logos. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved and Nickel
Plated Colt Custom Shop “Engraving Sampler” Third Generation
Single Action Army Revolver with Ivory Grips, Original Box,
and Factory Letter - Serial no. SA90423, 45 Long Colt cal., 4 3/4 inch
round bbl., nickel finish, ivory grips. Manufactured c. 1990, with the included
factory letter confirming the revolver’s configuration, including a 4 3/4 inch barrel
in .45 Long Colt caliber, nickel finish, smooth ivory grips with Colt Custom Shop
150th anniversary nickel medallions and blind screw hole on the left side, and Type “B”
factory engraving performed by Denise Thirion, when sent as the only revolver of its type
in a shipment to Southern Ohio Gun Distributors at 100 South Mechanic Street in Lebanon, Ohio, on April 11,
1990, under Colt Custom Shop Order #3324, as one of only a reported 330 revolvers produced in the Sampler
Edition in this particular configuration. It is believed that five or less of these “Engraving Sampler” revolvers are
identified to an individual Master Engraver like this one. Features fixed sights, standard Colt factory markings, Type “B” scroll engraving in “Henshaw” styling on the bottom of the back strap and on the trigger guard bow, “Nimschke”
styling on the cylinder, “Helfricht” styling on the frame, and “Contemporary” styling on the barrel and ejector rod housing. The Colt 150th Rampant Colt logo is linecut engraved on top of the back strap, along with “Colt Engraving
Sampler” linecut engraved in script style down the back strap. Matching full serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and grip strap, along with matching partial serial numbers marked on the front of the cylinder and rear of the
loading gate. Fitted with a pair of smooth ivory grips with silver Colt Custom Shop 150th anniversary nickel medallion inserts, matching serial numbers written on the interiors in marker, a blind screw hole on the left panel, along
with “R. Henshaw 1831/L. Nimschke 1850-1900/C. Helfricht 1871-1921/Contemporary” etched on the left panel in cursive script. Also includes a Colt heritage box with a matching numbered Colt Custom Shop end label.
CONDITION: Excellent as masterfully factory embellished by Denise Thirion, retaining 99% original nickel plating with limited handling evidence and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent.
The box is very fine with some minor storage wear.

Denise Thirion Factory Engraved and Nickel Plated Colt Custom Shop Third Generation Single
Action Army Revolver with Ivory Grips, Original Box, and Factory Letter - Serial no. SA92922, 45 Long
Colt cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish, ivory grips. Manufactured in 1990, with the included factory
letter confirming the revolver’s configuration, including a 4 3/4 inch barrel in .45 Long Colt caliber, nickel
finish, smooth ivory grips with nickel medallions and blind screw hole on the left side, and “American style”
factory scroll engraving performed by Denise Thirion, who is now retired, when sent as one of 30 revolvers
of its type in a shipment to Outdoor Sports Headquarters Inc. at 967 Watertower Lane in Dayton, Ohio, on
December 28, 1990, under Colt Custom Shop Order #170,257. Features fixed sights, standard Colt factory
markings, along with Colt factory “Type A” floral pattern scroll engravings covering the front of the barrel and
rear sides of the frame. Matching full serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap, along with
partial serial numbers marked on the front of the cylinder and electro-stenciled onto the loading gate. Fitted
with a pair of smooth ivory grips with nickel Colt medallion inserts and a blind screw hole on the left panel.
Includes a Colt heritage box with a matching numbered Colt Custom Shop end label. Also includes a copy of
a Munden Enterprises Inc. certificate stating that Bob Munden performed a “Custom Action Trigger Job” on
this revolver as well as a Munden marked test target.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original nickel plating with some faint handling evidence and
crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine with minor storage wear.
