Desirable Winchester-Western “Rider” Double-
Sided Metal Sign with Hanging Bracket
- Manufactured c. the mid to late 20th century, this is a
fantastic piece of Winchester-Western advertising and vintage
Americana. Measuring 38 inches in diameter, the double-sided
alloy sign features a buckskin-wearing rider at full gallop,
Winchester carbine in hand, over red “WINCHESTER/Western”
text. The lower edge is marked “C27660 Stout-Lite (c) by Stout
Industries Inc” on both sides. Included with the sign is a black
painted iron hanging bracket with a pair of S-hooks.
CONDITION: Excellent, the sign itself shows distinct text and
imagery as well as vibrant color with only the slightest handling or
storage evidence. The hanging bracket is also excellent with almost
all the black paint and minimal handling/storage evidence. An eye
catching Winchester advertising piece that is ready to hang in your
gun room!

Winchester Model 71 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no.
46738, 348 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut
stock. Manufactured in 1957, this is an solid example of the Winchester Model 71 rifle. It
has the standard Winchester markings including factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the
breech. It is fitted with a ramped and hooded beaded blade front sight, a blank filler in the rear sight
dovetail, and a Lyman peep sight on the left of the receiver. It is mounted with a smooth forearm
and pistol grip stock with a checkered shotgun buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 98% plus of the factory refinished blue finish on the receiver and 98%
plus of the original blue finish on the remainder with some scattered very light handling marks. The
wood is excellent with a few scattered light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

Pre-World War II Winchester Model 65 Lever Action Rifle in Desirable .218 Bee - Serial no. 1004178, 218 bee cal.,
24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1938, this is a solid representative example of the Winchester
Model 65 in the desirable .218 Bee caliber. It has Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, with an additional oval “P” proof on the barrel,
indicating that the barrel is a factory produced replacement that was fitted outside the factory. The left of the barrel has the Winchester proof steel, model, trademark, and
caliber markings. The upper tang is marked with the three-line Winchester trademark, and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver with “W” marked under it.
It is fitted with a ramped beaded blade front sight and an elevation adjustable notch rear sight. It is
mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered steel shotgun buttplate.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 98% plus of the factory blue finish on the barrel, 80% plus of the original
blue finish on the receiver, and the lever retains a mixture of blue and brown patina with some
scattered light scratches overall. The refinished wood
is fine with some scattered light dings and scratches.
Mechanically excellent.

Very Scarce Winchester Pre-A Model 52 Sporting Bolt Action Rifle - Serial no. 36346, 22 LR cal., 24 inch round
bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1935. Built with a ramped hooded beaded blade front sight and receiver
mounted fully adjustable Lyman rear peep sight, standard barrel markings, two sets of drilled and tapped holes, and Winchester “WP”
proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The receiver shows standard markings as well as “SPORTING” marked on the triggerplate
between the magazine well and trigger guard. The rifle has a lightly figured and multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with black
forend tip, hard rubber Winchester grip cap, cheekpiece, inletted blued steel sling swivels, and checkered blue steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Extremely fine, retaining 95% original blue finish with some minor handling evidence and scratches on the floorplate. The
refinished wood is very fine with some scratches, pressure marks, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Desirable Special Order Winchester Deluxe Model 53 Lever Action Rifle
in .25-20 W.C.F. - Serial no. 9930, 25-20 WCF cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1926,
this is a scarce example of a special ordered, deluxe Winchester Model 53 rifle. Only 24,916 of this rare model were produced, with an extremely limited number having
been ordered with special features or in deluxe configurations. It is marked with Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper left of
the barrel has the model, trademark, nickel steel, and caliber marking, while the two-line address is on the right. The upper tang is marked with the three-line trademark, and
the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. It is fitted with a Lyman beaded blade front sight and a low profile elevation adjustable notch rear sight. It is mounted with
a nicely figured, H-pattern checkered forearm and straight grip stock with a correct serrated steel shotgun buttplate.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 85% of the original blue finish on the barrel, 50% original blue on the remainder, and 80%
plus of the original nitre blue on the loading gate with the balance showing mostly a brown patina. The wood is
also fine with some scattered minor dings/scratches, some scattered light varnish flaking, and mostly well-defined
checkering. Mechanically excellent. These special ordered, deluxe Model 53s are very rare!
