CONDITION: Excellent.
The barrels retain 98% original blue
finish. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth dark patina with some high
point wear on the engraving and traces of case colors in the recesses of the engraving. The inside
of the trigger guard retains almost all of the bright original case colors. The wood is also excellent with only a few light handling marks and very crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear, and the engraving remains sharp. Mechanically excellent. This is certainly one the finest embellished J.P. Sauer Shotgun that we have had the pleasure of offering at auction!
