True Pair of Factory Master Jean-Pierre Bailly Signed and Engraved Belgian Browning
B25 Over/Under Shotguns with Case -A) Belgian Browning B25 Shotgun - Serial
no. 325NP02772, 12 gauge, 27 1/2 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. This factory matched
pair was manufactured in 1998. Both guns are built with blued steel barrels with a single nickel bead sight on the matted
vent rib which is marked with a gold inlaid “I” or “II” at the base, chambers marked 2 3/4 inches with automatic ejectors, and chokes marked “**-”/”*-” (improved cylinder/improved modified). The coin finished sideplated actions display scroll engraving and game scenes
bordered by floral and dot borders. The left sideplates have a covey of pheasant in an upland scene, the undersides show a running rabbit, and the right have a covey of quail bedding in the tall grass. The engraving is signed on the left sides below the scene “J.P.BAILLY” for factory Master Engraver Jean- Pierre Bailly. The guns feature a single triggers and a tang mounted safety/selector switches with gold inlaid “O”, “U”, and “S” markings. Each gun has an exceptionally well-figured Schnabel tip forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip forend with blank inscription oval and skip-line checkered bare butt. Included is an oak & leather takedown case that houses both guns. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .728/.728 inches; choke constriction .016/.030 inches; minimum wall thickness .035/.033 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 4 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with limited handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is very fine. Mechanically excellent.

Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .725/.725 inches; choke constriction .013/.028 inches; minimum wall thickness .034/.030 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 5/8 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 5 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes
with limited handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
