J. Baerten and Spiegel Signed and Master Engraved Belgian Browning High Power Olympian Grade Bolt Action
Sporting Rifle - Serial no. 4P28108, 270 Win cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue/French grey finish, deluxe walnut stock. Manufactured
in 1964. Features a stepped barrel without iron sight provisions. The trigger guard and magazine floor plate are floral scroll engraved with buck and
bear game scenes. The floorplate is signed “J.BAERTEN” for Master Engraver Jose Baerten, who worked for FN from 1955 to 1987. The trigger is plated
in gold. The receiver is also floral scroll engraved with elk and prong horn game scenes signed “SPIEGEL.” Fitted with a fancy floral checkered walnut stock with contrasting forend tip and grip cap, sporting both a magnum cross bolt and Browning red rubber recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and French grey finish with faint handling marks, crisp engraving and overall crisp stock checkering with a slight worn patch on the underside of the forearm. Mechanically excellent.

Rifle in .375 H&H Magnum - Serial no. 64502L72, 375 H&H magnum cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue/French grey finish, deluxe
walnut stock. Manufactured in 1972. Features a stepped barrel without iron sight provisions. The trigger guard and magazine floor plate are floral scroll engraved with bear and cougar game scenes. The floorplate is signed “J.BAERTEN” for Master Engraver Jose Baerten, who worked for FN from 1955 to
1987. The trigger is plated in gold. The receiver is also floral scroll engraved with moose and elk game scenes signed “L.CORTIS” for FN factory engraver Lilly Cortis. Fitted with a fancy floral checkered walnut stock with contrasting forend tip and grip cap, sporting both a magnum cross bolt and Browning red rubber recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and French grey finishes with faint handling marks and a stress line at the forearm screw which has oxidation, along with crisp engraving and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.
