mallard in its mouth in a pond scene, the right has a pointer grasping a pheasant in a field, the underside shows a pair of
bedded grouse, and the triggerguard has a pair of pheasants. The work is signed “MMAGIS” on the both sides for Browning Master Engraver Marie Louise Magis. The gun features a gold plated single trigger and tang mounted manual safety/selector
switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with solid rubber Decelerator recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .723/.726 inches; choke constriction .005/.008 inches; minimum wall thickness .035/.032 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 3/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 6 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and French grey finishes with limited handling marks, crisp engraving, and crisp
