Upgraded Game Scene Engraved Winchester 16 Gauge Model 21 Double Barrel Skeet Shotgun - Serial no. 13548, 16 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, deluxe checkered walnut stock. Manufactured as a Standard Skeet Grade per the included factory letter which confirms the current features of the gun aside from added engraving when the inspection was completed on July 12, 1939. The gun shows blued Winchester Proofed Steel barrels featuring a red front bead and a steel mid-bead on the matted concave
solid rib, 2 3/4 inch wedges of scroll engraving at either breech and both muzzles, standard factory markings, chokes marked “WS-1”/”WS-2”, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a fine blued action with engraving cut in the factory 21-4 pattern showing scroll engraving surrounding a simple “SKEET” marking on the triggerplate as well as four game scenes. The scenes depict a pair of mallards on the
left, a pair of quail on the right, a pointer and a setter on the underside, and a setter on the triggerguard. The gun features a single selective trigger
and a tang mounted manual safety. The gun is mounted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and a
pistol grip stock with a factory hard rubber buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .670/.669 inches; choke constriction .006(jug)/.009 inches; minimum wall thickness .039/.040 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 12 oz. CONDITION: Very fine as professionally upgraded to current configuration, retaining 99% blue finish with minor handling evidence. The wood is very good with numerous scattered small scratches, minor
chipping at the lower tang and forend edges, and overall sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,500 - 6,500

Excellent Winchester Model 1897 Takedown Slide Action Riot Shotgun -
Serial no. E991137, 12 gauge, 20 7/8 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1954. Single steel bead sight, the left rear of the barrel is marked with the standard two-line address, trademark marking followed by “MODEL 97-12 GA.-2 3/4 CHAM./CYL”, with the Winchester oval proof on top of the barrel at the breech and offset to the left on top of the receiver. Matching serial number on the bottom of the frame and takedown ring, and mounted with a 14 groove forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with a checkered plastic Winchester buttplate.
Length of pull is 13 3/4”.
CONDITION: Excellent, showing 98% plus of the original high polish blue finish, showing some mild cycling wear and handling marks overall. A few specks of surface oxidation are visible on the receiver. The stock is also excellent, with some minor scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,250

Scarce Winchester Model 21 Deluxe Trap Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 20407, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Built with blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels with dual sights on the matted vent rib, standard factory markings, chokes marked “FULL”/”IMP MOD”, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. Fitted to a blued action which is unadorned aside from “DELUXE/TRAP” on the triggerplate and features a single selective trigger and a tang mount manual safety. Mounted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered
beavertail forend and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements
(R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .736/.734 inches; choke constriction .041/.024 inches; minimum wall thickness .023/.026 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop
at comb; 1 15/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 12 oz. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 75% original blue finish with light handling evidence, crude repair to the forend lug and bottom rib, scattered light spotting, and a ding at the left breech. There is a crack at the left of the forend and a repaired chip at the toe and significant crazing of the finish throughout the stock and forend, otherwise the wood is very good with some dings and scratches and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

LOT 1562 Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Shotgun with Solid Rib Barrel - Serial no. 131643, 410 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1954. Single steel bead sight on the matted solid rib, standard markings, 3 inch chamber, and choke marked full. Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver. Nicely figured 14-groove forend and smooth pistol grip stock with Winchester plastic checkered buttplate.
