LOT 3637 Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Rifle in .300 Savage - Serial no. 66584, 300 Savage cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1947 as a rare and highly desirable example of a .300 Savage chambered Model 70. Fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade and elevation adjustable rear sight. The barrel is marked on the left with the Winchester address, model, and caliber markings. “WP” proofs are stamped on the barrel and receiver. The cloverleaf receiver is marked on the left with the Winchester trademark and on the right with the serial number on the receiver ring. Mounted in a multipoint checkered, straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with sling loops, and a checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with a few minor handling marks. The replacement stock is very fine with a few minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. LOT 3638 Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Rifle in 7mm Mauser - Serial no. 232092, 7 mm Mauser cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, checkered walnut stock. Manufactured in 1952 (receiver). It is chambered in the scarce 7 mm or commonly termed 7 x 57 mm Mauser. Hooded ramp front sight and folding adjustable rear sight on a barrel with the Winchester legend on the left side. A Winchester factory style oval proof is restamped on the barrel and receiver. Receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting, late safety, straight receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to gun, solid bolt knob and sling swivels. The custom made high comb straight grip stock features checkering and a checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine as professionally custom upgraded to current configuration/refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is near mint showing the slightest handling marks with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,250 LOT 3639 Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Carbine in 250-3000 Savage - Serial no. 15675, 250-3000 SAV cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1938 (receiver). It is chambered in 250- 3000 Savage, a caliber Winchester introduced in 1937 to its line of Model 70s before discontinuing the caliber in 1949. Hooded ramp front sight, no provisions for a rear sight and Lyman receiver sight (stock inletted). Left side of the barrel has the Winchester legend with the right side having the two line address. The receiver is tapped for scope mounting at the front and has a cloverleaf tang. Polished bolt numbered to gun, pre-war safety and sling swivels. The nicely figured pistol grip stock features checkering and checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine as professionally custom upgraded to current configuration/refurbished/restored. The carbine retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The Winchester oval proofs are both restamped. The stock is very fine with crisp checkering. Upgraded Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Featherweight Bolt Action Rifle - Serial no. 424412, 30-06 cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1958. The barrel is fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front sight and single leaf folding rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked with the Winchester address and model and caliber markings.
“WP” proofs are stamped on the chamber and receiver. The straight tang receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the receiver ring. The floorplate is marked “-SUPER GRADE-”. Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, sling loops, blued steel grip cap, and checkered aluminum buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine as professionally upgraded to current configuration/refinished, retaining 98% plus blue finish with some handling marks and slightly softened proofs. Stock is very fine with nosecap separation, a few dings and scratches, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500

The barrel is fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sights. The left side of the barrel is marked with the Winchester address, model, and caliber markings. “WP” proofs are stamped on the left of the chamber and receiver. The straight tang receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial
number on the right of the receiver ring. The floorplate is marked “-SUPER GRADE-”. Mounted in a fleur-de-lis checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, sling loops, hard rubber grip cap, cheekpiece, and blued steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine as upgraded to current configuration, retaining 97% refinished blue finish with limited handling marks and some light pitting under the finish on the receiver. The custom made stock is very fine with dings and scratches, a splice on the right side by the rear sight, and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750 LOT 3642 Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Bolt Action Rifle - Serial no. 577723, 243 Win cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1963. The barrel is fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front sight and single leaf folding rear sights. The left side of the barrel is marked with the Winchester address and model and caliber markings. “WP” proofs are stamped on the chamber and receiver. The straight tang receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the receiver ring. Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with sling loops and checkered aluminum buttplate. Non-factory trigger shoe added. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% blue finish with a couple minor handling marks mostly concentrated on the floorplate edge. Stock is very fine with some dings and scratches and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,500 - 2,250
