Bottega C. Giovanelli Signed Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid Winchester Model 70 Ultra Grade Featherweight 1 of 1,000 Bolt Action Rifle - Serial no. UG666, 270 Win cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue/gold finish, deluxe walnut stock. One of only 1,000 Model 70 Ultra Grade Featherweights manufactured by Winchester. Marked in gold “1 of 1,000” on the right rear of the barrel and with two gold inlaid bands around the muzzle. The rifle features a fine floral scroll engraved receiver with gold inlaid border accents, gold “WINCHESTER/-TRADE MARK-” on the left wall and serial number “UG666” in gold on the right side of the receiver ring. The barrel is manufactured without sights, the top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting and signed “Bottega C Giovanelli.” The floor plate, trigger guard, and grip cap are engraved with the same floral scroll design, with a big horn ram in the center of the floor plate with gold bordering. Jeweled bolt and follower, with floral scroll engraving on the bolt handle. Mounted with an American black walnut pistol grip stock with fancy bordered checkered forearm and wrist, with Schnabel forend, grip cap, solid rubber Winchester recoil pad and sling swivel studs. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp engraving and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 45,000

70 Super Grade Bolt Action Rifle with Boxes -A) Winchester Model 70 Rifle in .22-25 Remington - Serial no. 35CZZ09360, 22-250 Rem cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Offered here is one of only 100 set of four Winchester Model 70 Rifles which create The “Nearly Perfect” Rifle Battery. This set includes one rifle for every prey. A 22-250 for varmints, a 270 Winchester for deer and antelope, a 300 Winchester Magnum for elk and moose, and a 375 Holland & Holland Magnum for Dangerous Game. These sets were manufactured from late 2011-mid 2012 as some of the last Model 70 rifles made in the United States. All four are Super Grade rifles marked with standard barrel and receiver markings and “THE “NEARLY-PERFECT” RIFLE BATTERY/(game of choice)/(number of rifle in set) OF 4”. This specific rifle is marked “Varmint/1 OF 4”. All the rifles are mounted in multipoint checkered walnut pistol grip socks with contrasting forend caps, blued steel grip caps marked “SUPER/GRADE”, shadowline cheekpieces, and black rubber recoil pads.
