when shipped to L.W. Bullock RFD #1 in Grantsburg, Illinois on July 22, 1958. According to Page 38 of Don Wilkerson’s “The Post-War Colt Single Action Revolver: 1955-1975” this is one
of a mere 113 in this configuration. Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, triggerguard, inside both grips (sans suffix), and back strap with the last three digits on the front face of the cylinder. The assembly number “86” is marked on the rear of the frame, and inside the loading gate. This revolver is consecutively numbered to the following lot. Includes the original black box with “NICKEL FINISH” sticker on the lid above the end label containing a cleaning rod.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original nickel finish with minimal handling marks, a faint partial cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is excellent.

Spectacular Colt Second Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Original Black Box and Shipping Sleeve - Serial no. 37124SA, 45 Long Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1962. Fitted with blade front and frame notch rear sights. Matching serial numbers are marked on the frame, triggerguard, and back strap with partial serial number “124” stamped on the ront of the cylinder and hand marked in each of the grips. The assembly number is marked on the rear of the frame and inside the loading gate. Includes the original Colt black box and shipping box with outer Colt shipping label and “SPECIAL DELIVERY” label. CONDITION: Near new in box, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and vibrant case colors with minimal handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Black box is excellent. Shipping box is fine. None finer! Estimate: 4,500 - 6,500

Exceptional First Year 1956 Production Second Generation Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Black Box - Serial no. 6329SA, 45 Long Colt cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1956, the first year of production for the Second Generation Single Action Army revolver. Blade front and notch rear sight. One line address on top of the barrel, left side of the barrel marked “COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45”, left side of the frame marked with the two line patent dates followed by a Rampant Colt. Serial number “6329SA” marked under the front of the frame with matching number marked in the left side of the frame under the grip, and underside of the hard rubber grips. Matching assembly number “308” on front of the cylinder and back of the loading gate. Includes hand-numbered Colt black box.
CONDITION: Excellent plus, retaining 99% original case colors, 98% original blue finish with limited handling evidence. Grips are also excellent with limited handling evidence. Box is very fine with some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
