Engraved H Blaser Hagn Action Falling Block Single Shot Rifle with Swarovski
Scope - Serial no. 1/55931, 5.6x50 R Mag cal., 20 3/4 inch part round bbl., blue/coin
finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1987. Per our consignor the rifle was built for noted publisher Robert E. Petersen and his initials are on the grip cap. The barrel is fitted with a ramped blade front sight on the round portion, and a raised matted half rib on the octagonal portion with a standing leaf rear sight and scope mounts holding a Swarovski Habicht 6x36A scope. The barrel is marked “H. BLASER ISNY” and “5.6x50R MAG” on the left flat. The upper side flats at the breech have sprays of tight English scroll engraving with the front sight ramp engraved to match. The action displays profuse masterfully executed tight English scroll and bouquet engraving covering nearly all surfaces including the triggerguard, which also acts as the cocking lever, and top of the falling block. Mounted in a lightly figured multipoint checkered Schnabel tip Mannlicher forend and pistol grip
stock with black grip cap with silver initial escutcheon with the script initials “REP” surrounded by a band of scrollwork, Bavarian cheekpiece, engraved cartridge trap, and Blaser buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and coin finishes with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Wood is excellent as well with minimal handling marks, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Optics clear, reticle crisp.

Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid Alfred Schilling Single Shot Rifle - Serial no.
019, 30-06 cal., 24 inch part round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured by Alfred Schilling in Germany. The Alfred Schilling company reopened its doors in 1998 and has since been turning out world class rifles ever since. The blued barrel is fitted with a ramped beaded
front sight and a raised quarter rib marked “CAL. 30-06” with a rear sight and
scope mount. The casehardened action displays magnificently executed wisps
of floral scroll engraving with “A. SCHILLING” on the left and “ZELLA-MEHLIS” on
the right with the serial number gold inlaid on the blued trigger guard. Mounted
in a magnificently figured and highly contrasted multipoint checkered walnut
forend with engraved fittings, Deeley release, and ebony forend tip, and pistol grip stock with casehardened engraved grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, and Wegu recoil pad. Includes a Blaser sling.
CONDITION: Excellent with original blue finish and case colors with minimum handling marks and crisp engraving. Wood is very good with some light dings and scratches, a couple faint stress lines at the upper tang, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
