Outstanding Winchester Deluxe Model 12 Pigeon
Grade Slide Action 28 Gauge Skeet Shotgun with
Box - Serial no. 1351342, 28 gauge, 26 inch vent rib bbl.,
blue finish, checkered walnut stock. Manufactured in
1953. Dual bead sights on the donut pillar type vent rib,
choked skeet, and 2 7/8 inch chamber. There are standard
Winchester markings including the factory oval proof on
the barrel and receiver at the breech and a pigeon on the
magazine extension. The bolt and lifter are jeweled. The
matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the
frame and breech end of the magazine extension. Mounted on a select walnut checkered forearm
and pistol grip stock with a metal grip cap and plastic factory buttplate. Length of pull is 13 1/2
inches. Comes with a hanging tag and box. The replacement box has a reproduction end label ink
stamped “SPECIAL” in the upper left corner and listing 26 inch barrel, skeet choke, and 28 gauge.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish showing some minor cycling wear.
The wood is also excellent showing very minimal handling evidence and crisp checkering. The
replacement box is very fine showing minimal wear and retaining nearly all of the reproduction end label.

solid rib bbl., blue finish,
deluxe walnut stock. Built with blued steel barrels featuring dual sight bead sights
on the matted concave solid rib which is marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER”,
standard Winchester markings, 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and
chokes marked “IMP.-MOD.”/”FULL”. The barrels are fitted to the blued action which is unadorned aside from the
serial number on the upper tang, standard markings on the watertable, and gold inlaid “E/P/S” in block letters on the
triggerguard. The gun features a single selective trigger and a tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered beavertail forend and a pistol grip stock
with blued steel grip cap and a factory red rubber recoil pad. Includes a second matching numbered 28 inch barrel set with 3 inch chambers and chokes marked “WS-1”/”WS-1”. The included factory letter
confirms the current gauge, barrel length, sights, chokes, chambers, safety, ejectors, and single trigger when it was completed on June 14, 1957, and also lists a later factory return date at which time the
extra barrel set was fitted. Also includes a leather takedown case with gold “E.P.S.” initials that houses the set. Barrel measurements for the extra set (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .733/.731
inches; choke constriction .006(jug)/.003(jug) inches; minimum wall thickness .030/.032 inches. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .730/.728 inches; choke
constriction .010/.026 inches; minimum wall thickness .031/.028 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 12 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish with minor handling evidence, a few tiny freckles of spotting, a few scratches on the wood including a long scratch on the forend, and sharp
checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel set is also very fine. One end flap is detached from the case; otherwise the case is very fine.
