Scarce Cased Colt 150th Anniversary Double Diamond Matched Two Gun Set with Boxes
-A) Colt Double Diamond Python Double Action Revolver - Serial no. DD0725, 357 magnum
cal., 6 inch vent rib bbl., stainless finish, rosewood grips. This is an excellent example of a
very difficult to find Colt 150th Anniversary “Double Diamond” set that includes both the
Colt Officer’s ACP pistol and the Colt Python revolver in the original Colt display case. This
set is number 725 of 1,000 sets manufactured in 1986. The Python features the brilliant Colt
Ultimate Stainless finish, standard pinned blade front and fully adjustable rear notch sights,
wide borderless checkered hammer, serrated trigger, serrated back strap, and smooth grips
with inset silver Colt 150th anniversary medallions. Includes a glass top cherry wood display
case fitted to the guns with a black velvet interior, inset 2 1/2 inch brass and blue enamel Colt
150th Anniversary medallion, and matching numbered belt buckle.
CONDITION: Excellent overall with limited minor handling marks and a light cylinder drag line.
Mechanically excellent. Box is very good. Case is very fine. B) Colt Officer’s ACP Double Diamond
Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 0725DD, 45 ACP cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., stainless finish,
rosewood grips. Features brilliant Colt Ultimate Stainless finish, fixed blade and notch sights, serrated
ring hammer, short milled serrated trigger, flat serrated mainspring housing and smooth grips with
inset silver Colt 150th anniversary medallions. Cased with “A.” Includes original box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good.

Colt Viper Double Action Revolver with Factory
Letter - Serial no. 73890R, 38 Special cal., 4 inch solid rib bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. The included factory letter lists this revolver as
chambered in .38 special with a 4 inch barrel, blue finish, and grips not
listed when shipped to Oshmans Sporting Goods in Houston, Texas on
February 15, 1978 in a single gun shipment.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original
blue finish with minimal handling marks, a faint cylinder
drag line, and crisp grip checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

Cased Matched Colt United States Bicentennial Three Revolver Set with Armsmear
Book and Boxes -A) Colt Dragoon Bicentennial Percussion Revolver with Accessories -
Serial no. 0539DG, 44 cal., 7 1/2 inch part round bbl., blue/casehardened/silver finish, rosewood
grips. Issued in 1976 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the United States. Standard
markings and features. Includes three drawer hardwood case that holds all three revolvers and
a Colt “woodgrain” box, as well as a copy of “Armsmear”, ball mold, powder flask, combination
tool, and cap tin still sealed in their original packaging. Cased with “B” and “C”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and silver finishes and case
colors with limited handling marks and an attractive patina on the silver. Mechanically
excellent. Box is fair with absent portions and tears. Case and accessories are excellent.
B) Colt Single Action Army Bicentennial Revolver - Serial no. 0539PM, 45 Colt cal., 7 1/2
inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, rosewood grips. Issued in 1976 to celebrate the
200th anniversary of the United States. Standard markings and features. With Colt “woodgrain”
box hand numbered to the box. Cased with “A” and “C”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with light
handling marks, a cylinder drag line, and a faint cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. Box
is good with an absent end flap. C) Colt Python Bicentennial Double Action Revolver -
Serial no. 0539PY, 357 magnum cal., 6 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, rosewood grips. Issued in
1976 to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the United States. Standard markings and features.
With Colt “woodgrain” box. Cased with “A” and “B”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with minimal handling
marks and a faint cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. Box is good with absent end labels
and some tears.
