Non-Registered Double
Action Revolver with
Scarce 4 Inch Barrel - Serial
no. 61114, 357 Magnum cal., 4 inch solid rib bbl.,
blue finish, walnut grips. The Non-Registered .357
revolvers are much more rare than their Registered
Magnum model counterparts with only about
1,400 manufactured between 1935 and 1941, compared to about
5,400 Registered Magnums. Fitted with a serrated ramp front
sight, adjustable rear sight, and checkered walnut grips with silver S&W medallions. The revolver has a
factory rework star on the butt as well as “10.44” (October, 1944) factory return date under the left grip. The
revolver shows matching serial numbers on the barrel, cylinder, butt, and right grip panel.
CONDITION: Very fine overall as factory refinished, retaining 95% plus blue finish with minor handling
evidence, some rubbing at the muzzle, a few freckles of spotting, and sharp checkering on the grips.
Mechanically excellent.

Smith & Wesson .38/44 Outdoorsman (Pre-War) Double Action Revolver with Box - Serial no. 44552,
38 S&W special cal., 6 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured between 1931 and 1941
as one of 4,761 reported built. The revolver has matching serial numbers on the barrel, cylinder, right grip
panel, and butt. Fitted with a Patridge front sight, adjustable rear sight, and checkered walnut grips with
silver S&W medallions (screw slightly long). Included is a correct model factory blue picture box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue finish with minor handling evidence, a few
scratches, light edge wear on the grips, and sharp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very
good with edge wear.

blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured between 1926 and 1941.
Round blade front sight, square notch rear sight, and checkered
walnut grips sans S&W medallions. The revolver shows matching
serial numbers on the cylinder and butt. Includes a correct model
factory box, serial number illegible.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue finish
with much of the loss on the back strap, some edge wear, some
cylinder rotation wear, and minor handling evidence. The
replacement grips are slightly ill-fitting and grip screw will not
properly tighten, the checkering is sharp. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine.

Smith & Wesson .45 Hand Ejector Model of 1950 Target
(Pre-Model 26) Double Action Revolver with Original Box
- Serial no. S96805, 45 ACP cal., 6 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. One of a reported 2,768 S&W manufactured
circa 1950-1961, with this example manufactured circa 1953.
The revolver is fitted with Patridge front and micrometer
click rear sights and checkered Magna grips. Matching serial
numbers appear on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder,
and ejector shroud. The correct original S&W maroon box
is numbered to the gun and has a Kleins Sporting Goods
price label visible on the bottom. Four moon
clips are included.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% plus original blue
finish with some muzzle wear, a few handling marks, and
a light cylinder drag line. 99% plus original case colors
remain on the hammer and trigger. The grip are also excellent with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The
box is fine with a repaired lid corner.
