Scarce and Desirable Pre-Ban Swiss SIG
AMT Semi-Automatic Rifle with Kahles
Scope and Bipod - Serial no. 20402,
7.62x51mm NATO (308) cal., 19 inch round bbl., blue finish, birch stock.
A semi-automatic commercial version of the Swiss
SG-510-4 select-fire service rifle, the AMT (American
Match Target) was imported into the U.S. in relatively
small numbers with an approximate total of 3,000 brought in c. 1969-1989. Features
fixed winged post front and adjustable tangent peep rear (graduated from 100 to 600 meters) sights, a birdcage style
flash hider, swiveling bipod mount at the front of the ventilated steel barrel shroud, a right-side mounted folding winter trigger,
“T” shaped charging handle, color coded “S/1” selector markings, and a folding carry handle. Matching partial serial numbers
“0402” on the bolt, bolt carrier, buttstock assembly, and trigger housing. Equipped with a ribbed plastic pistol grip, birch
handguards, and a birch buttstock with ribbed steel buttplate. Includes a Styrofoam shipping box, Kahles Wien ZF69 6x42 mm
scope on two rings fitted to a SIG AMT patterned receiver mount, a brown web sling, user’s manual, and a matching numbered
factory test-fire target.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus blue finish with a few limited minor handling marks, a minor safety drag line,
and a slight plum hue to a few small components including the stock connection lug. The stock is exceptionally fine with a few
minor scuffs and a bipod drag line on the handguard. Mechanically excellent. The scope is exceptionally fine with clear optics.

Semi-Automatic Rifle with Original Box,
Case, ACOG Scope, and Accessories - Serial no.
M249SA01540, 5.56 mm cal., 18 1/2 inch round bbl., matte gray/black finish, synthetic
stock. Manufactured in Columbia, South Carolina, as a closed bolt semi-automatic version
of the U.S. military issued M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), also made by Fabrique Nationale
de Herstal (FNH). Features a hooded post front sight, windage and elevation adjustable rear peep
sight, top cover integrated Picatinny rail, belt box mount and left side mounted STANAG magazine adapter, quick change barrel, folding bipod,
and barrel mounted folding carry handle. Fitted with polymer heat shield, ribbed forend, ribbed pistol grip, and fixed stock with steel butt and folding wire rest.
Included with the lot are a Boyt hard case, matching numbered shipping box, plastic belt carrier, STANAG magazine, loose disintegrating belt links, tan nylon belt
case and a Trijicon ACOG 3.5x35 optical sight with flip-up lens caps and “flashkill” style front optic device.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% original matte gray/black finish, showing some light handling marks. The furniture and optics are also excellent. Mechanically
excellent. The case shows minor wear, the box has a number of tape repaired holes, and the accessories otherwise in good order.
