Cased Limited Edition Colt Lawman Series Wyatt Earp “Buntline” Commemorative Single
Action Army Revolver with Shoulder Stock and Factory Letter - Serial no. 160WYE, 45 Long Colt
cal., 16 1/8 inch round bbl., royal blue/nickel/casehardened finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in
1970 as one of 500 produced in a limited run, with this example being the 160th, the included factory
letter confirms the revolver’s configuration, including a 16 1/8th inch barrel in .45 Caliber, royal blue
and nickel finishes along with a casehardened frame, walnut grips with nickel Colt medallions, and
furnished with a black leatherette Lawman Series “Wyatt Earp” motif presentation case, when shipped
to Dickensons of Columbia Inc. D/B/A Western Auto Store in Columbia, Missouri, on December 28, 1970.
The factory letter also indicates that the revolvers of this limited edition series feature a special flat-top
frame configuration (inset with an adjustable folding leaf style rear sight), include a nickel shoulder
stock, are marked with “LAWMAN SERIES-WYATT EARP” on the right of the barrel highlighted in silver,
and were sent with a copy of the 20-page booklet “The Lawman Series-Wyatt Earp” by E. B. Mann (not
included). Features fixed blade front and folding leaf rear sights, the one-line Colt address roll-marked
on top of the blued barrel with the model and caliber designation on the left and aforementioned
Lawman Series marking highlighted in silver, Rampant Colt and the two-line patent dates on the right
of the casehardened frame with shoulder stock mounting lugs on the sides, along with some nickel
plated small parts including the trigger, hammer, and cylinder pin. Fitted with a pair of unmarked walnut grips. Includes a matching numbered and nickel plated shoulder stock attachment along with a black Colt leatherette “THE
LAWMAN SERIES/”Wyatt Earp”” marked presentation case, fitted to the revolver and shoulder stock, with a gold stenciled scene of the Earp posse of Tombstone on the lid.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original royal blue, casehardened, and nickel finishes with some limited minor storage marks and crisp markings. The very fine shoulder stock has some light scratches/flaking on the outside
edges. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with minor edge wear.

Single Action Army Revolvers with Accessories
-A) Colt Third Generation Buntline Single Action
Army Revolver in .44 Special - Serial no. SA32194, 44
special cal., 12 inch round bbl., nickel finish, walnut grips.
Manufactured in 2007, cased with “B” and “C”. All three
revolvers feature a nickel plated finish, fixed blade front
and top strap rear sights, the Colt address roll-marked on
top of the barrel with the model designation roll-marked
on the left side of the barrel, the two-line Colt patent
dates roll-marked on the left of the frame with Rampant
Colt, Colt “triangle/VP” proofs marked on the left of the
trigger guards, and fitted with a pair of smooth walnut
grips. Includes a red leather carry case fitted for all three
revolvers, a cleaning rod, cleaning tools, a nickel oiler, and
an extra nickeled cylinder marked “44-40” and matching
numbered to “C”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original
nickel plating with a minor cylinder drag line, some
limited minor handling evidence, and clear roll-marks. Mechanically excellent. The case and
accessories are very fine to excellent. B) Colt Third Generation Single Action Army Revolver
in .44-40 WCF - Serial no. SA94492, 44-40 WCF cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1991, with markings and features as described in “A”. Cased with “A” and “C”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel plating with a faint cylinder drag line, limited handling evidence, and clear roll-markings. Mechanically excellent. C) Colt Third Generation Single Action Army
Sheriff’s Model Revolver in .44 Special - Serial no. SA41522, 44 special cal., 3 inch round bbl., nickel finish, walnut grips. Introduced c. 2008, with markings and features as described in “A”. Cased with “A” and “B”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel plating with a partial cylinder drag line, a few faint compression marks, and clear roll-markings. Mechanically excellent.

Scarce Cased Buffalo Bill Historical Center Winchester Museum Factory Engraved and Gold and Silver Plated Colt Single Action Army
Revolver - Serial no. 51BB, 44-40 cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., silver/gold finish, original grips. This revolver is one of only 250 revolvers manufactured by
Colt and engraved and plated by the Colt Custom Gun Shop for the Winchester Museum at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. The cases were produced
by Arno Werner, chief bookbinder for Harvard’s Houghton Library until 1982. It has “Buffalo Bill Historical Center/WINCHESTER MUSEUM/1 of 250”
on the left side of the barrel along with a man on horseback. The left side of the frame has “FEB. 26. 1846/JAN. 10. 1917” in place of the usual patent
marking followed by the Rampant Colt trademark. The dates represent Buffalo Bill Cody’s birth and death. The recoil shield has a bison head, and
Cody’s signature is engraved on the back strap. The rest of the engraving consists primarily of traditional American scrollwork with dot backgrounds.
The engraving was done by A.A. White Engravers. The left grip has a rendition of Cody’s face and his “TE” cattle brand, and both grip panels have
Custom Shop medallions.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 98% original finishes with some scattered light handling marks, the silver showing some slight age darkening in a few
areas, and the gold showing some faint edge loss. The grips are excellent with a few very light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is
very fine with a few light handling/storage marks.
