Scarce U.S. Irwin Pedersen M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine -
Serial no. 1785055, 30 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. “3-43” dated Rock-Ola barrel, type I barrel band with “UP” marked sling swivel, blue flat milled bolt, unmarked smooth magazine catch, “IP-W” marked push button safety, milled trigger group, flip-up rear peep sight, and standard markings on the receiver heel. Low wood pistol grip M2 stock and two-rivet handguard with deep cut sighting channel, crossed cannons ahead of a boxed “SG” cartouche on the right side of the buttstock, “IR-IP” stamp in the sling recess, and stamped checkered buttplate. Includes brown canvas sling and oiler.
CONDITION: Fine as restored to World War II configuration, retaining 85% dull restored parkerized finish with some light thinning on the barrel, some light handling marks, and some filled in holes on the left of the receiver which are obscured/hidden by stock. Wood is very good as lightly sanded and re-oiled with some light scratches, a filled in section inside the left of the stock inlet, and clear stampings. Mechanically excellent. LOT 452 Exceptional World War I U.S. Remington Model 1917 Bolt Action Rifle - Serial no. 398730, 30-06 Springfield cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1918. “R/flaming bomb/8-18” marked barrel with blade front and adjustable ladder and peep rear sights, standard receiver markings with double “eagle head” proofs on top of the left receiver rail, and a single “flaming bomb” proof on the side. “R” and “flaming bomb” marked bolt. Smooth pistol grip stock with “R” marked at the nose, finger grooves, “eagle head/339” proof ahead of the floorplate, “eagle head/300” behind the trigger guard, and smooth trapdoor buttplate. Includes Kerr Nobuckl canvas sling. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with some loss on the bolt, some areas turning to a smooth brown, and some areas of light surface corrosion. Stock is also excellent with
attractive raised grain and rich oil finish, some light scratches, a small spliced and repaired rectangular section at the right of the forend, and crisp grasping grooves and stampings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

U.S.M.C. Property Marked Remington Model 40X Bolt Action Target Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 6616, 22 LR cal., 27 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in the mid to late 1960s, the 40X was the standard small bore competition rifle for the United States Military. The heavyweight barrel is fitted with front and rear dovetail blocks, with an additional block on the rear receiver ring, and holes drilled (one tap screw absent) for a receiver peep sight. The receiver is marked “U.S.M.C. PROPERTY” on the front ring above the caliber marking and serial number. The action is mounted with a Lyman Targetspot 20x scope. Mounted in a beavertail walnut stock with white line recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with a few light handling marks, and some spots of thinning and plum coloration. Stock is very fine with a few light dings and scratches, a few small spots of darkening, and some cracking in the recoil pad. Mechanically excellent. Optics are clear with a crisp reticle. Estimate: 1,300 - 1,900
LOT 454 U.S. Underwood M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine with Case - Serial no. 4625610, 30 M1 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. “N” marked blade front and “PI” marked adjustable rear sight, Underwood barrel dated “12-43”, type III barrel band/bayonet lug, “J.A.O.” flip safety, “W.I.” marked magazine catch, “M2” magazine, milled “SG” trigger guard, “N/14” flat bolt, “W” slide and “AM-B” hammer. Low wood stock with “IO” marked four rivet handguard, “AAX” arsenal refurbishment stamp on the right side of the stock, uncircled serifed “P” on the wrist, green canvas sling and a steel buttplate. A 1944 dated Shane Manufacturing canvas case is included. CONDITION: Very fine, with 95% of the arsenal refurbished parkerized finish, showing some scuffing and wear on the right side of the front sight and bayonet lug, along with some mild cycling and handling wear overall. The stock is
very good, with some light scuffs and scratches. The case shows some light stains and fading. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,300 - 1,900

U.S. Marked Winchester Model 52C Bolt Action Target Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 101768C, 22 LR cal., 27 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1960. “U.S. Property” marked (electric pencil) next to the serial number on the left side of the receiver, Unertl 20x Target scope numbered “29374”
with elevation and windage adjustable mounts, and heavy free floating Winchester barrel. Includes wooden scope case. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 97% original blue finish on the barrel and 98% plus refinished blue finish on the receiver with some fading and handling marks, and a softened receiver proof. Wood is fine with scattered dings and scratches and a crisp DoD stamp on the bottom of the pistol grip. Mechanically excellent. Optics are clear with a crisp reticle. Estimate: 1,300 - 1,900

U.S. Marked Remington Model 40X Bolt Action Single Shot Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 15300, 22 LR cal., 28 inch heavy round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured from 1955 to 1964 with a heavy barrel, dovetail block at the front and holes drilled for a receiver peep sight. The left side of the receiver ring is marked “U.S./22 LONG RIFLE” over the serial number with standard Remington markings on the left receiver rail. The right rear side of the barrel is marked with the typical Remington barrel proofs. The barrel is fitted with a scope block 6 inches forward of the breech, and the front and rear receiver rings are also drilled and tapped with filler screws in the front and a scope base mounted on the rear. With the standard heavy pistol
grip walnut target-style stock with the accessory rail, cut out at the front of the comb, and a serrated White Line buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with scattered handling marks. Stock is fine as lightly sanded with some slight finish loss visible on the pistol grip, and a few small dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Optics clear with a crisp reticle.
