Scarce Steel Frame Smith & Wesson Model 39 Semi- Automatic Pistol with Rare Dust Cover and Box - Serial no. 62277, 9 mm para cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. The Model 39 was the first 9 mm double action, semi-automatic pistol produced in the U.S. Steel frame models, like this example, were first introduced in 1954, but not assembled or sold until 1966, with only 927 manufactured. This pistol features standard markings as well as a rare detachable dust cover. Includes Smith & Wesson silver box with printed end label for a blue finish Model 39. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% original blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is good
with storage and handling marks, flaking, and corner wear.

Revolver - Serial no. S85477, 45 ACP
cal., 6 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips.
Manufactured c. 1951-52. Patridge blade front and adjustable rear sights. Matching serial numbers on the grip frame, cylinder, and barrel. Only 2,768 were manufactured between 1950 and 1961.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, a partial cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Automatic Pistol with Box - Serial no. 1575, 9 mm
para cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish. Manufactured
c. 1954-55. This pistol is an early example of what
would become the Model 39 Double Action pistol. It
features serrated blade front and rear notch sights,
a small safety, long extractor, alloy frame, checkered
walnut grips with Smith & Wesson Medallions.
Includes a non-matching S&W blue box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus
original blue finish with limited handling marks and
crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Smith & Wesson .38 Chiefs Special Airweight Pre- Model 37 Double Action Revolver with Box - Serial
no. 29571, 38 special cal., 2 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1953. Matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder, and barrel, serrated ramp front sight, and 4-screw frame with rare locking screw. Includes original Smith & Wesson red box with “AIRWT” handwritten on the label.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99%
plus original blue finish with extremely limited handling marks, a faint cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine with limited storage
and handling marks.

Very Early Smith & Wesson Model 41 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Box - Serial no. 4196, 22 LR cal., 7 3/8 inch slab side bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Introduced in 1957. Features Patridge blade front
and adjustable rear sights, muzzle brake, standard markings, and target grips. Includes correct Smith & Wesson blue box. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with storage and handling marks some dings and scratches, and a couple spots of oil staining on the lid.

Pre-Model 12 Double Action Revolver with Alloy
Cylinder and Gold Box - Serial no. C224263, 38 special
cal., 2 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. The
revolver features an alloy frame and cylinder, standard
S&W markings, and matching numbers on the butt,
cylinder, right grip, and barrel. The factory gold box
has a correct .38 M&P end label marked “Aluminum.”
Includes a Smith & Wesson Historical Foundation
research letter stating the revolver was shipped on
March 24, 1953 on an Advertising Account. Advertising
Account guns were usually shipped to writers for magazines or
as “gift guns” for employees or friends of Smith & Wesson.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited
handling marks, a cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
