World War II German Army Officer’s Sword and Dagger - 1) Puma officer’s sword, 36 1/2 inches overall, 32 inch blade marked “No3” on the right side, yellow anodized aluminum hilt with dove head pommel and oak leaf motifs, wire wrapped celluloid grip, and a black enamel finished scabbard. An attached note attributes the sword as having been taken as a war trophy in Munich by a Corporal Wilmer Leatherman of the 601st Anti-Aircraft Battalion. Records on Leatherman and the 601st are scarce, but he may have been a resident of Pennsylvania. 2) WKC Heer dagger, 14 5/8 inches overall, 9 7/8 inch blade, darkened fittings, orange celluloid grip and a silver portepee. Rare World War II German Clemen & Jung German Land Customs Official Dagger with Sheath and Hanger - German dagger with scabbard, hanger, and tassel. “Land Customs Dagger” Established by the Prussians in the 19th century as a tariff enforcement agency, the Zollgrenzschutz fell under SS control during the war, and performed their duties in both Germany and the occupied territories. The dagger is 14 5/8 inches long, with a 9 3/4 inch double edged blade. The grip and sheath both feature green leather wrapping and darkened alloy fittings, with a silver acorn knot on the hilt and a silver ribbon hanger on the sheath. CONDITION: Fine overall, with some shallow pitting and a slightly bent tip to the blade, mild scuffs on the leather, high point wear on the fittings, and minor handling marks overall. World War II German Dress Bayonet with Engraved Blade and Kriegsmarine Dagger with Sheaths and Portepees - 1) Eickhorn 2nd Model Kriegsmarine dagger, 15 1/4” OAL, 10” etched blade. Includes portepee and sheath. 2) Tiger dress bayonet with 7 3/4” blade etched “Zur Erinnerung/an meine Dienstzeit” on the blade (in memory of my service time), 12 1/2” OAL. Includes portepee and scabbard with leather frog. CONDITION: 1) Fine with some dents in the sheath. Blade is very fine. 2) Very fine overall. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection. LOT 369 German RAD Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn - RAD (National Labor Service) Carl Eickhorn Solingen dress dagger with 10 1/4” blade etched “Urbeit adelt” (Labor Ennobles), 15 1/4” OAL, white grips with eagle head base, and decorated metal scabbard.  One World War II German Red Cross Officer’s Dagger and One Red Cross Enlisted Knife - Designed for wear by the (relatively limited) number of German military officers and soldiers on permanent assignment to the German Red Cross (versus the Red Cross’ civilian volunteer staff ), both feature nickel finished hilt furniture, the German Red Cross logo on a languet on the short crossguard, and a flared pommel. 1) Unmarked officer dagger, 14 3/8 inches overall with a 9 3/4 inch spearpoint blade, orange celluloid grip, and nickel finished sheath. 2) Unmarked enlisted knife, 13 5/8 inches overall with a 10 1/2 inch blade, serrated on the spine with a blunted tip, half checkered/half smooth grip panels, and a black enamel finished scabbard with a leather frog. CONDITION: 1) Fine. the blade shows some spotting and edge nicks, the hilt fittings are a bit loose, the grip shows minor chips, and the nickel components show some scuffs and wear. 2) Very fine, with minor spotting and rubbing on the otherwise excellent blade, light cracking and scuffing of the leather, and mild handling marks overall.
