German Walther “ac/45” Code K43 Semi-
Automatic Rifle with ZF4 Sniper Scope, Matching Mount and
Accessories - Serial no. 3696B, 7.92 mm Mauser cal., 22 inch round bbl.,
blue/phosphate finish, laminate stock. Manufactured by Walther (ac) on a rough forged receiver marked “K43 ac/45” on the left. Hooded blade front sight and military tangent rear sight graduated from 100-1200. The bolt carrier is fitted with a reinforcing web, hollow cocking handle, and lacks provision for a bolt catch. Right side mounting rail, unthreaded muzzle, “gcb” code “K43” marked magazine, and cupped trapdoor buttplate.

Fitted with a smooth pistol grip laminated stock with “eagle and swastika/359” stamp on the left of the buttstock and another Waffenamt on the underside. Matching serial number marked on the receiver, bolt carrier and scope base. The left of the scope body is marked “Gw ZF4/41680/ddx.” ahead of a blue-filled triangle. Includes a brown leather sling, bakelite oiler, leather/cork scope lens caps, small parts, extra “rqs” code “K43” marked magazine, and a period K43 sniper manual.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus original combination late war blue/phosphate finish with areas of differing color throughout. Magazine retains 97% original black painted finish. Stock is also excellent with some light scratches and handling marks, mostly visible stampings, and defined edges. Mechanically excellent. Included scope and mount are excellent, retains 95% original blue and phosphate finishes with some light freckling, and clear optics. One will look a long time to find another example in this condition with a matching numbered scope mount! Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection.

Action Sniper Rifle with ZF-41/1 Scope and Scope Can - Serial no. 3018, 7.92 mm
Mauser cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, laminate stock. “ar/43” marked receiver ring and “Mod.98”
marked on the left of the receiver. Hooded blade front sight and tangent rear sights, with an integral mounting
rail on the rear sight base. The included “eso/+/Z.F.41/1” marked 1.5x scope is mounted on a quick-release base. Mounted
with a laminate pistol grip stock with milled fittings and a cupped steel buttplate. Includes a brown leather sling and tan painted
“jvb” code (Wassel & Muller Beschlagfabrik) metal scope can.
CONDITION: Very fine as arsenal refurbished, retains 80% blue finish with smooth brown patina on the balance and some patches of light pitting. Stock is also very fine as arsenal refinished, with some light handling marks and scratches, a filled in chip visible on the underbelly, and a few small hairline cracks visible around some of the edges. Mechanically excellent. Scope and mount are very fine, retaining 98% original blue finish, and optics are cloudy but viewable.
