is an excellent example
of a Swedish Commercial
contract Walther HP semi-
automatic pistol in 9mm
parabellum. Blade and notch
sights, with the Walther
banner, two-line address/
caliber marking and “Mod HP”
on the left side of the slide,
commercial “crown/N” proofs
on the right side of the slide,
barrel and frame, and matching
numbers on the right side of
the frame, front of the barrel lug,
the underside of the slide and locking lug, and on the inside of each of the checkered grip panels. Included with the lot is an unmarked brown leather flap holster and an extra magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish, showing some minor handling marks and edge wear overall. The grips are also excellent, with a few minor scratches, and the holster is very good with scuffing and cracking. Mechanically excellent.

plastic grips. Blade front
and fixed notch rear sights,
stacked “ac/41” code on left
side of the slide, “eagle” firing
proof and double “eagle/359”
acceptance marks on the right.
“ac” is present on the left side of
the frame, with matching numbers
on the slide, frame, barrel, locking
block and the magazine floorplate,
“eagle/359” proofs on many
components, a full blue finish and
ribbed brown plastic grips. Included with the pistol is a brown leather holster dated 1941 and an extra magazine numbered to another pistol.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, with 85% plus of the bright original blue finish, showing bright edge wear, mild spotting and patches of gray patina concentrated on the frontstrap, and mild handling marks overall. The grips are also very fine, with a few light scratches, and the holster is fine with some scuffs and cracks. Mechanically excellent.

Magazine - Serial no. 1896C, 9 mm cal., 4 7/8 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. With holster
and an extra magazine. Fixed blade and notch
sights, one-line “P.38 1896c ac 45” marking on the
left side of slide, and “eagle/359” acceptance marks
on the right side of the slide and barrel and left side
of the frame. Matching serial numbers on the barrel, slide, and frame with a matching partial number on
the locking block. Phosphate finish visible on trigger, slide stop, safety and sear transfer bar. Ribbed bakelite grips and “P38/U” and “jvd” marked magazine. Includes an attractive light brown leather holster marked “Eagle over WaA77” and a “P38” inside a circle on the back, and an extra magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus of the original blue finish, with areas of gray patina on the frame, bright edge wear and mild handling marks. The grips are also excellent, with mild scratches, and the holster is very fine, with some stains, scuffs and cracks. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr.

Automatic Pistol with Holster - Serial no. 6824,
9 mm cal., 4 7/8 inch round bbl., blue finish,
plastic grips. Fixed sights, with standard markings
on the left side of the slide, matching numbers
and “eagle/swastika” and “eagle/WaA135” markings
in the appropriate places. With ribbed grips, an “eagle/135” proofed magazine, and a black leather
flap holster marked “hjg/1943” and “WaA204”
on the rear.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus original blue finish, showing some mild spotting and hints of brown patina on the frontstrap, bright wear along the high edges, and mild handling marks overall. The grips are also excellent, with some light scuffing and scratching, and the holster is fine with some scuffs and cracks. Mechanically excellent.

CONDITION: 1) Very fine, with some minor flex creasing and staining. 2) Excellent plus, as issued with minor scuffing.
