Sneak Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol Rig with Matching
Magazine, Extra Magazine and
Unit Marked Police Holster - Serial
no. 6680T, 9 mm cal., 4 inch round
bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. Blade front and notch rear sights, with a blank chamber, “DWM” on the front toggle
link, “crown/N” commercial proofs on the barrel, extension and breechblock, and a faint Waffenamt stamp (possibly “WaA68” or “WaA88”) on the right side of the chamber. The police sear safety has been installed, and a magazine well safety
was installed but later removed, with
the unit mark “L.Ka.348.” on the front strap,
indicating the rural police for the Kassel
region. Straw finished small parts, checkered
grips, and two magazines; both magazines are
Haenel marked with alloy bases, one marked
“2/6680” to match the pistol, the other close at
“1/6008” with an “eagle/L” stamp on the body.
The breechblock, firing pin and extension are
unnumbered. Also included with the pistol is a
brown leather holster marked “ROBERT LARSEN/
BERLIN/1929” and “L.Ka.348.” to match the pistol on the rear, and a takedown tool also numbered “348.”.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing bright wear along the high edges, mild spotting, and light handling marks. 40% of the straw color is present on the small parts, and the grips are very good with a chip absent above the magazine release and scattered flat spots. The holster is very good, with mild scuffs and cracks. Mechanically excellent.

finish, hardwood grips. Fixed
sights, with the “1917” date
on the chamber and “DWM”
monogram on the toggle.
Three “crown/letter” proofs on
the receiver, with the “Imperial
Eagle” firing proof on the barrel,
receiver and breechblock.
Matching numbers are present
on many components, including
the magazine base and left grip
panel, and some parts (like the
right grip) blank. Fitted with straw
finished small parts, “GESICHERT”
and “GELADEN” marked safety
area and extractor, and checkered
hardwood grips. With a brown leather
holster stamped “1918” and a N.
Burghard maker’s mark on the back, and an unmarked takedown tool.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing mild scuffs on the barrel and grip straps, high edge wear, and mild spotting and handling marks. 80% of the original straw color is present on the small parts, and the grips are very fine with a coat of protective varnish added, and some mild dents and scuffs. The holster is very good, with tearing of the belt loops and scuffing and cracking overall. Mechanically excellent.

Exceptional World
War I German
1918 Dated Erfurt Semi-Automatic Luger with
Matching Magazine - Serial no. 8054m, 9 mm cal.,
3 7/8 inch round bbl., blue finish, checkered walnut
grips. This Imperial German Luger semi-automatic pistol
was manufactured at Erfurt, the Prussian owned arms
factory, during WWI. The chamber is dated “1918” and the
toggle is marked with the distinctive “Crown/ERFURT” logo. The pistol has
a dull blue finish with straw colored small parts. The pistol serial number and
suffix is marked on the front of the frame. “8054” is stamped on the bottom of the
barrel, as well as the bore diameter “8,82”, and the left side of the barrel extension.
The partial serial number, “54” is stamped on most of the small components including
the inside of the grips. The right side of the receiver is stamped with three “crown/
gothic letter” army acceptance marks followed by the Imperial eagle and preceded by the
“crown/RC” Revision-Commission rework stamp. The rework mark is also stamped on the
left side of the barrel over a crown/gothic letter proof and the Imperial eagle is stamped
on the right. The left side of the breechblock is also stamped with the Imperial eagle. Typical of Erfurt pistols, a small “crown/gothic letter” acceptance mark is stamped on all of the small parts. The magazine
is nickel plated with a wooden base numbered to the gun and the back strap has a stock lug. Fitted with checkered walnut grips.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear, and some minor spotting on the
grip straps. The grips are excellent with
a few minor handling marks, some
mild wear and crisp checkering. The
small components retain 70% of the
original straw colors.
Mechanically excellent.

and appropriate military
proofs on the barrel,
receiver, and breechblock. The
magazine is unnumbered with “GERMANY”
stamped on the base, otherwise numbers are matching overall, including on the rear sight components and the grips. Included with the lot is a brown leather flap holster, takedown tool, and wood-handled cleaning rod.
CONDITION: Fine, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, minor dings on the frame rails, scattered spotting and mild handling marks overall. The takedown lever is a numbered to match refinished replacement. The balance of the straw parts remain 40% intact. The grips are very fine with a few scattered light dings. The modified holster is fair with some absent or replaced stitching, an area cut out of the body near the heel of the pistol, parts absent from the rod flap, and many cracks and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
