LOT 3552 Gold and Stone Inlaid Zlatoust Dagger with Sheath - Manufactured at the Zlatoust Arms factory in Zlatoust, Russia. The dagger is adorned with fine inlaid floral scrolls. The scabbard is adorned in the same fashion as well as having white stones inlaid. The dagger’s grip is also inlaid with red and white stones and two large red stones at the pommel and guard. The shield shaped quillion features a border of inlaid white stones and red stones inlaid on the thumb guard. The dagger measures 19 inches from tip to pommel. Includes a hardwood display case and shipping box. CONDITION: Excellent overall with limited handling marks and a bright blade. Case is excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000

CONDITION: Excellent with limited handling marks and a bright blade. Case is excellent. Stand is very fine with storage and handling marks.

front legs with red stones inlaid for the eyes. The pierced sheath is adorned in a similar fashion with the pierced section creating a wooded scene with the guard in the background and a wolf leaping into a wolf pack scene. The branches are adorned with red stones. Includes a presentation case for the knife, knife stand, and Russian paperwork describing the knife.

The raindrop pattern Swedish Damascus blade is adorned with floral scroll and a panther hunting scene. The sheath is adorned in a similar fashion with a relief inlaid Panther head. The pommel of the knife is made in the shape of a panther head with green stones inlaid in the eyes and green stones inlaid around either end of the grip. Includes a presentation case, knife stand, and Russian paperwork describing the knife. CONDITION: Excellent overall with limited handling marks and a bright blade. Case is excellent.
