inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin/gold finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with a ramped beaded blade front sight, four position
(one standing, three folding) rear sight on the raised rear quarter rib, 1995 dated German proofs, single gold inlaid band around the breeches, and
chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin finished bolstered action displays attractive light scroll engraving with a Heym logo on the underside. The rifle features double triggers, cocking indicators, and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings, including the Deeley
latch release, and pistol grip stock with engraved blued steel trapdoor grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and red rubber recoil pad. Length of pull 14 7/16 inches. Weight 10 lbs. 3 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue and coin finishes, very minor areas of very light spotting, minor handling evidence, a few scratches in the wood, and sharp wood checkering. LOT 1528 Factory Engraved Chapuis Progress Ejector Double Rifle - Serial no. 15613, 375 H&H magnum cal., 25 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Ramped, beaded blade front sight, four position (one standing, three folding) rear sight on the raised rear quarter rib which is marked “CARABINE DOUBLE EXPRESS CHAPUIS FRANCE”, and chambers with ejectors. The coin finished boxlock action features floral scroll engraving surrounding floral bouquets with “PROGRESS-CHAPUIS/S’ETIENNE-FRANCE” marked on the underside. The rifle features double trigger, bushed firing pins, and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Lightly figured, multi- point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings, including the Deeley latch release, and pistol grip stock with coin finished trapdoor grip cap, cheekpiece, right hand palm swell, and checkered rubber recoil pad. Length of pull 15 1/4 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 14 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% plus original blue and coin finishes with minimal handling evidence, some oil darkening on the action in small areas. The wood is very fine with some scattered minor handling marks and sharp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,500 - 7,000

Rifle with Case - Serial no. RBL004635, 20 gauge, 24 inch solid rib bbl., blue/
casehardened finish, walnut stock. Offered here is a less than conventional double
rifle factory built on a Connecticut Shotgun Company RBL action and factory mated with a set of 20 gauge fully rifled sabot slug barrels. The blued steel barrels with ramped fiber optic front and elevation adjustable rear sight on the smooth concave solid rib with raised quarter rib, “DOUBLE SLUG” barrel markings, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and a spray of floral scroll coming off the breech. The casehardened boxlock action displays scroll engraving on all sides covering 75% of the surface with gold washed “PROFESSIONAL” on both sides. The gun features double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and Anson button release and straight grip stock with serrated plastic buttplate. Includes hard case and Galazan snap caps. Stock measurements: 14 7/8 inch length of pull, weight 6 lbs. 8 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks, crisp engraving, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. The center latch on the case needs repair, but it is otherwise very fine. Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000
LOT 1530 Factory D. Bonsi Engraved Pedersoli Kodiak Hammer Double Rifle with Extra 20 Gauge Barrel Set - Serial no. MK726, 9.3x74R cal., 22 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with a beaded blade front sight, three position (one
standing, two folding) rear sight on the smooth solid rib, and 1994 dated Italian proofs. The coin finished hammer action displays light scroll engraving with “D. PEDERSOLI” banners on either lockplate and a lion’s bust on the underside. The triggerplate is signed “D BONSI” to the right of the triggerguard. The rifle features rebounding hammers, double triggers, and a right hand rolled triggerguard. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece and Pachmayr
Decelerator recoil pad. Includes an extra matching numbered 28 inch 20 gauge set with modified/full chokes and 2 3/4 inch chokes. Length of pull 14 5/8 inches. Weight 9 lbs. 6 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish turned brown, 99% original coin finish, some grease around the hammers, and minor handling evidence. There is a tiny chip
ahead of the left hammer; otherwise, the wood is very fine with a few small marks and sharp checkering. Forend latch does not fully close but is secure; otherwise, mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,500
