octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. These Dakota Arms Little Sharps rifles are 80% the size of an original Model 74. Features a 26 inch crowned full octagon barrel. The caliber is marked on the barrel, and the standard Dakota Arms markings are on the left side of the action. The barrel is fitted with a beaded blade front sight with a tang mounted peep rear sight. Mounted on a beautifully figured smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with blued buttplate. Due to a factory error the last “E” in eagle is absent from serial number on the box. Matching collector serialized to “A”. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and 97% original gold finish with limited handling marks and an plum coloration on the magazine band. Mechanically excellent. LOT 3657 Shiloh-Sharps Model 1874 Single Shot Falling Block Rifle - Serial no. 5631B, 45-90 cal., 34 inch octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in Big Timber, Montana. The barrel is fitted with globe spirit gauge front sight with no provision for a rear sight and marked “Shiloh-Sharps Model 1874” at the center as well as “Calibre 45/2 4/10” towards the breech. The casehardened receiver bears the Shiloh address on the left side and is fitted with double set triggers and a long range peep tang sight. Mounted in an exceptionally well-figured walnut Schnabel tip forend and straight grip stock with shadowline cheekpiece and
casehardened checkered steel buttplate. Includes a generic hard case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
