Master Neil Hartliep Signed, Game Scene Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Shotgun - Serial no. 136993X, 410 gauge, 26 inch vent rib bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut stock. Manufactured
in 1954 with a factory duplicate serial number and then
subsequently upgraded by well-known Master Engraver Neil Hartliep. Blued barrel with dual bead
sights on the Simmons marked matted vent rib, chamber marked 3 inches, choke marked improved cylinder, and wedges of scroll engraving at either side of the breech. The blued receiver displays highly
attractive floral scroll engraving with gold borders surrounding a pair of game scenes depicting a pair of dogs watching a flushed grouse on the left and a pointer waiting to approach a trio of quail on the right. The scenes are all cut in fine semi-relief gold inlay and the work is signed “NHARTLIEP” on the right hidden amongst the grass. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend and straight grip stock with factory grip buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 13 15/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 3 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine as beautifully upgraded by Master Engraver Neil Hartliep, retaining 98% blue and gold finishes with minor handling evidence, some thinning on the magazine tube near the breech, slight plum color to the receiver, a few scratches at the toe, and sharp checkering on the wood. Scarce 16 Gauge Pre-World War II Winchester Model 21 Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 7016, 16 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Blued Winchester Proof Steel Barrels with single nickel bead sight on the matted concave solid rib, standard Winchester markings, 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and chokes marked modified/full. The
blued action is unadorned and features a single selective trigger and a tang mounted automatic safety switch with gold “SAFE” marking.
Attractively figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend and pistol grip stock with Pachmayr recoil pad. Includes two boxes of Baschieri & Pellagri F2 Classic Type 2 shells. Barrel and
stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .671/.669 inches; choke constriction .010/.027 inches; minimum wall thickness .026/.017 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 7/16 inch drop at heel; 13 7/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 15 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% plus blue finish with some loss on the underside of the action and lower tang, minor handling evidence, some varnish loss on the stock from the non-factory addition of the recoil pad, a nicely added replacement forend with refinished hardware, and sharp wood checkering. LOT 512 Winchester Model 42 Slide Action “Skeet” Style Shotgun - Serial no. 52914, 410 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1946. Blued barrel with a single bead sight, 3 inch chamber, choke marked skeet, Standard Winchester markings and “WP” proofs, and “circled P” proof on the barrel indicating a replacement barrel of factory origins. Lightly figured,
multi-point forend and straight grip stock with factory buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 13 15/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 85% plus original blue finish on the receiver, some discoloration on the refinished/replacement
barrel ahead of the magazine tube, scattered spotting, and overall light handling evidence. The refinished wood is very fine
with a few minor scratches and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Serial no. 1969469, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, deluxe checkered walnut stock. Blued barrel with dual sights on the matted vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and choke marked full. “WP” proofs on the left side of chamber and receiver. Attractively figured, multi-point figured forend and pistol grip stock with factory metal grip cap and checkered plastic recoil pad. Stock measurements: 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 9/16 inch drop
at heel; 13 7/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 15 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% of the blue finish with light handling marks and light cycling wear. The stock is also excellent with crisp stock checkering and some scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500

Factory Game Scene Engraved Winchester Model 12 Slide action Shotgun - Serial no. 479836, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1926. Blued barrel with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard markings, choke marked full, and scrollwork on the receiver extension. The receiver has been engraved in a similar fashion to the factory 12-5 pattern with reversed scenes. The left shows a flock of mallards over a pond and the right has a pair of dogs flushing grouse in a field. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with black diamond wrist, factory grip cap, and
