Winchester Model 54 Bolt Action Rifle in Rare .30 W.C.F. - Serial no. 30552A, 30 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1930. The Model 54 is the predecessor to the ever iconic Model 70. This particular rifle has standard markings including the “30 W.C.F.” caliber marking. This was the only cartridge from Winchester’s lever action line to become standard production in the Model 54, and it was also the shortest lived offering. Fitted with a beaded blade front and two leaf rear sights as well as a matching numbered bolt. Mounted in a Schnabel tip checkered walnut pistol grip stock with serrated steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with much of the loss on the floorplate and bolt body, scattered minor spotting, and overall light handling evidence. The wood is also very fine with a few scattered dings and scratches and overall sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,000

Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Rifle in Desirable .375 Holland & Holland Magnum - Serial no. 493761, 375 H&H magnum cal., 25 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1960. Fitted with a hooded ramped beaded blade front
sight, two leaf rear sight, and standard Winchester markings. Matte blue straight tang receiver with polished bolt body, “WP” proof, filler screws in scope base holes, and flag style safety. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with sling swivels and factory red rubber recoil pad. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with minor handling evidence. The wood is very fine with a few small dings and scratches, a stress line at the floorplate, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Marvin L. Cole Collection. LOT 517 Excellent Winchester Deluxe Model 71 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 28934, 348 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1949 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with ramped and hooded blade front sight, filler in the rear sight dovetail, and Lyman 56 peep sight mounted on the left of the receiver. Sling swivels are mounted on the forend cap and stock. Mounted with a checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and checkered steel shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original blue finish with a few scattered light handling marks, flaking of finish on bottom of the lever, and some light muzzle wear. The wood is also excellent with some scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,500

Serial no. 90739C, 22 LR cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1956. Ramped beaded blade front sight, standard barrel markings, factory “WP” proof on the barrel and receiver, and a Lyman rear peep sight. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered stock with black
forend tip, blued steel grip cap, raised cheekpiece, recessed sling studs, and checkered blued steel buttplate. The trigger assembly does not have “Sporting” markings due to the “O.T.” and “PULL” adjustment screws, as seen on Target Model 52s. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% original blue finish with minor handling evidence, slight rub at the muzzle, and scattered minor spotting. Winchester Model 52 Bolt Action Sporting Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 75294B, 22 LR cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1952. The barrel is fitted with brass bead blade front sight and has the standard Winchester address on the left followed by the “WP” proof at the receiver. The receiver is marked with “Winchester” on the right of the front ring and “WP” proof on the left near the serial number. The action is fed via a 10 round detachable magazine released by a button located on the right side of the stock. Fitted in
checkered walnut stock with ebony tip, hard rubber grip cap, and checkered shotgun style metal buttplate. Includes a Bushnell Sportview 4x32 mm scope (clear optics). CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus of original blue finish retained along with minor handling marks, fading and spotting (most noticeably on magazine). The stock is very fine with scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000

The matte blue straight tang action features the flag style safety, Weaver scope bases, standard factory marking, and “WP” proof on the front receiver ring. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with sling swivels and checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% original blue finish with some scattered minor specks of oxidation on the barrel, light handling evidence, a few scratches in the otherwise very fine wood, and sharp stock checkering.
