brushed bright finish, walnut stock. Built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the
Battle of Britain, fought between the Germans and British in the skies over England.
The gun has blued Excelsior steel barrels with a nickeled bead sight on the matted flat
vent rib, standard factory markings, 1991 dated Italian proof marks, light engraving
around the monoblock, Birmingham proof marks, import mark on lower tube, added
Teague chokes (“T.CYL”/”T.CYL” installed), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the brushed bright finished sideplated action
displaying extensive engraving by the renowned firm Bottega C. Giovanelli. The gun shows floral scroll engraving surrounding a British Hawker Hurricane on the left lockplate, a famed
British Spitfire amongst the clouds on right lockplate, and a Spitfire engaging with a German DO-17 on the underside as well as “P.BERETTA” signatures on either side and “BATTLE OF
BRITAIN/1940-1990/50th ANNIVERSARY” on the underside. The trigger plate is signed “Bottega C. Giovanelli” along with “24/50” indicating this gun is one of just 50 built. The gun features
a single gold trigger and a tang mounted automatic safety/selector. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved blue iron and Deeley latch
release as well as a pistol grip stock with blank inscription oval and a Silver’s type recoil pad. Includes two extra chokes (1/4 and improved cylinder). Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter
nine inches from the breech proofed and measured at 18.3/18.4 mm (.721/.724 inches); minimum wall thickness .037/.036 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 5/16 inch drop at heel; 14 7/8 inch length of
pull; weight 7 lbs. 7 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue and coin grey finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.

Over/Under Shotgun with Case - Serial no. GIU718B,
20 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut
stock. Built with blued Excelsior steel monoblock barrels featuring a single steel bead sight on the matted flat vent rib, light engraving
around the breech, 2007 dated Italian proof marks, interchangeable chokes (modified/full installed), and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors.
The barrels are fitted to the coin finished sideplated triggerplate action which displays highly attractive floral scroll engraving surrounding “P.
Beretta/Giubileo” in a shield on either side and a trio of game scenes with a pair of flushing woodcocks in a field on the left, the Beretta factory
underside beneath “BERETTA”, and a flock of flushing quail on the right. The engraving is signed on the triggerplate by the renowned firm Bottega
C. Giovanelli along with “inc. Zatti”. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted automatic safety/selector. The gun is fitted with a highly
attractive and multi-point checkered forend with engraved coin finished iron and gold “PB” shield inlaid in the underside as well as a straight
hand stock with a checkered walnut buttplate. Includes a factory takedown case and three extra choke tubes (cylinder, improved cylinder, and
improved modified). Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed and measured at 15.9 mm
(.626 inches); minimum wall thickness .033/.033 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 4 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence, some dried grease on the action, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically
excellent. The case is very good.
