Cased Consecutively Serialized Pair of CT Brian Custom/Colt Mk IV
Series 70 Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistols
-A) CT Brian Custom/Colt Mk IV Series 70 Government Model Pistol -
Serial no. 71B4193, 45 Auto cal., 5 inch round bbl., stainless finish, hardwood
grips. Both pistols in the lot manufactured in 1971, consecutively serialized,
and subsequently upgraded by CT Brian Custom. The frame and slides are
both finished with contrasting polished and bead blasted matte stainless
finishes. Feature fixed serrated blade front and notch rear sights, “KART 45 NM”
marked stainless barrels with recessed crowns, the standard Colt markings
on the left and right of the slides, Colt address and the serial numbers on
the right of the frames with the CT Brian Custom marking, flared magazine
wells, checkered front straps, skeletonized triggers and hammers, along with
extended magazine releases, thumb safeties, and beaver tailed grip safeties.
Fitted with pairs of smooth hardwood grips with silver CT Brian Custom “CTB”
marked medallion inserts. Includes an Aluminum CT Brian Custom hard case
fitted for both pistols, two extra magazines, and two laminated matching
serialized CT Brian test targets dated December 27, 2008.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, with limited minor cycling wear, limited minor
handling evidence, along with crisp serrations and grip frame checkering.
Mechanically excellent. The case is exceptionally fine.
B) CT Brian Custom/Colt MK IV Series 70 Government Model Pistol -
Serial no. 71B4194, 45 Auto cal., 5 inch round bbl., stainless finish, hardwood
grips. As described in “A”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, with limited minor cycling wear, limited minor
handling evidence, along with crisp serrations and grip frame checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

Cabot Guns Model 1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Meteorite Trigger, Mammoth Ivory
Grips, Case, and Box - Serial no. CGC0179, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., black/stainless finish,
ivory grips. Manufactured in Cabot, Pennsylvania, c. early 21st century. Features fixed gold beaded
blade front and Novak white-dot notch rear sights, polished stainless sides on the slide with the
Cabot Guns logo on the right side behind the checkered serrations, a stainless barrel with recessed
crown, The Cabot address and serial number on the right of the frame with a checkered front strap,
extended beavertail grip safety and ambidextrous thumb safeties, and a meteorite trigger. Fitted
with a pair of smooth mammoth ivory grips. Includes a shipping box with matching numbered
Cabot Guns label with the detail “For: NRA ILA Auction” and a black metal lock case with clear sides.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original black finish with some limited minor cycling wear
on the barrel, limited handling evidence, and crisp slide and front strap checkering. The grips are
also excellent with eye catching color and grain patterning. Mechanically excellent. The case is
exceptionally fine, the box is very fine.
