DWM Royal Portuguese Contract Model
1906 “M2” Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with
Holster - Serial no. 3330, 7.65 mm Luger Auto cal., 4 3/4 inch
round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured during
the final days of the Portuguese monarchy, between 1908
(the ascension of King Manuel II) and 1910 (the deposition of
Manuel II and the establishment of the Republic of Portugal).
Fixed sights, with the “crown/M2” royal cipher on the chamber,
“circled triangle” army acceptance marks on the extension,
barrel and frame, and a “DWM” front toggle link. The extractor
is marked “CARREGADA”, and the lower safety marking is
polished blank. Fitted with straw finished small parts, checkered
grips and a nickel magazine with a “circled triangle” stamped
hardwood base. The magazine, grips, hold open and
firing pin are unnumbered; otherwise, numbers are
matching overall. Included with the lot is a black
leather flap holster marked “AE” on the rear.
CONDITION: Fine, with 75% of the arsenal refurbished
blue, showing covered pitting on the gripstraps, areas of
mixed gray patina, bright edge wear and mild handling marks. The grips are also fine, with some flat spots on the checkering, and the holster is good with some cracking and scuffing. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

Swiss Bern Model 1929 Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol with Desirable Red Grips and Holster
- Serial no. 52531, 7.65 mm Luger Auto cal., 4 3/4 inch round
bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Manufactured by the Bern
factory of Switzerland in 1934. Features fixed blade front
and “U” notch rear sights and Swiss “cross in shield” crest on
the front toggle link. Matching serial numbers are present
on the frame, rear toggle, and barrel, with “531” partials on
the side plate and extension. Barrel marked with “cross” and “Bernerprobe” proofs, “FW+” Bern proof at the rear of the
frame, “GELADEN” marked extractor, and “S” marked upper
safety position. Fitted with a pair of desirable checkered
red plastic grips and nickel finished magazine with
matching colored plastic base. Includes an “A. GEHRI/
BERN” marked brown leather holster.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% arsenal
refurbished blue finish with slight edge wear, faint spotting
under finish on barrel, and crisp grip checkering. The holster is very good, with some light scuffs and supple leather. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

Mauser Banner “41” Date P.08 Commercial
Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 6962w, 9 mm cal., 4 inch round
bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Fixed sights, with the “1941” date over the
chamber and the Mauser “banner” logo on the toggle. A set of “eagle/N” proofs
are present on the extension and breechblock. Fitted with a straw colored
takedown lever, trigger, safety and ejector, with the remainder a full blue. Finish is full
blue, with the takedown safety installed on the extension and no cuts made for a magazine well safety. The grip panels and firing pin are unnumbered, otherwise the Luger has matching numbers overall, including on the alloy base of the blue finished magazine.
CONDITION: Fine, with 60% of the faded original blue, 40% straw colors, with some
covered pitting on the right side, bright ed
wear, a number of dings on the left
sideplate and mild handling marks
overall. The grips are also very good,
with some mild dents. Mechanically fine.

Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 9840i, 9 mm Luger cal.,
8 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. “1917” dated chamber and
“DWM” monogram on the toggle link. Blade front and tangent rear
sights. Three “Crown/Gothic letter” military proofs on the right side of the
barrel extension, Imperial Eagle firing proof on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Except the magazine, external serial numbers match. Proper “GESICHERT” marked on the upper safety position and “GELADEN” on the extractor. Checkered walnut grips and correct replacement nickel magazine with wooden base numbered “7605”.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% original blue finish with some light thinning on the barrel and some light edge wear. Small parts retain most of the professionally restored straw colors. Grips are also very fine with crisp
checkering, a few nicks and some light handling
marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

Excellent World War II Mauser “byf” Code, “41” Date P.08 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Matching Magazine and Holster - Serial no. 6386u, 9 mm cal., 4 inch round
bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Blade front and notch
rear sights, the “41” date on the chamber and “byf ” factory code on the front toggle link. German “eagle” firing proofs are present on the barrel, breechblock
and extension, and the barrel and extension are also stamped with “eagle/655” proofs. The frame is stamped “P.08” on the left. The hardwood grips are unnumbered, with matching numbers on the other components, including the alloy magazine base. With a brown leather holster, marked “WaA387” and “1936” on the rear, and “3772” on the front.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing areas of gray patina,
bright edge wear and minor handling marks.
The grips are also excellent, with a few light
dings and stains, and the holster is fair, with some cracking and cuts. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500

DWM Commercial Swiss Model 1906/20
Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 2740i, 7.65 mm Luger cal.,
3 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured by DWM
for sale to the Swiss, many of these pistols were instead routed to the
United States due to high demand for the arm among American sportsmen.
Fixed sights, with the distinctive “Cross in Sunburst” crest on top of the chamber and
“DWM” monogram on the front toggle. Overall proofing/inspection marks are German,
with “crown/N” on the barrel, extension and front toggle link. “GERMANY” is marked on the left side of the frame near the thumb safety, with a “GELADEN” extractor and blank polished lower safety position. Matching external numbers are present in the “commercial” pattern, with a blank hardwood base on the nickel finished magazine, straw finished small parts, and checkered grips.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 80% of the original
blue finish, showing bright edge wear, areas
of brown patina, scattered spotting and mild
handling marks. The extractor and grip safety
appear to be replacement parts, with the safety
electro-pencil numbered to a different pistol. 70% of
the bright straw color remains, with mild spotting. The
grips are fine, with some staining and dings. Mechanically excellent.
