The wonderful detail of each game scene is immaculately executed by Galeazi, and is
one of the best examples of his work the author has seen. The gun features a single non- selective trigger and a tang mounted manual safety switch. The wood shows outstanding figure and multi-point checkering on the forend which features coin finished and engraved fittings including the Anson button release and straight grip stock with a finely checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed at 18.4mm (.724 inches) and measured .732/.730 inches; choke constriction .024/.042 inches; minimum wall thickness .028/.028 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 1 7/8 inch drop at heel; 14 5/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 15 oz.
