Heavily inspired by the “Tears Of Gettysburg” 1861 Colt revolver which

of floral scroll with four mythical beast

with five more interlaced beasts. The floral scroll continues to work its way down the back strap where it curls
around onto the butt of the revolver. The triggerguard is flanked by wavy lines and more floral scroll. A wolf’s
head is engraved on either side of the hammer. All of the beasts depicted on the revolver are shown shedding a
single tear in reference to the above revolver. The cylinder displays a wavy line and punch dot motif with floral
scroll behind the naval scene. The piece is signed by Adams Jr. with a stylized “A” on the loading lever latch.
