David Miller Co. Upgraded, Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 213065, 375 H&H magnum cal., 23 inch part round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured using what would later become the Winchester Model 70 Classic action by the famous David Miller Co., this wonderful rifle features a gold inlaid band and light engraving at the muzzle and marked “No 287” and “375 H&H MAG” on top in the center. The barrel as it nears the chamber transitions to an octagon shape with the top flat being a high polish blue inlaid with two gold triangle pointing away from one another and “DAVID MILLER CO.” on a French grayed panel and another band of gold inlay at the chamber. The action features light intertwining line engraving and “WINCHESTER” on another French grayed panel. Mounted atop the action is a Leupold 1.5-5x scope in a gold inlaid and lightly engraved David Miller Co mount. The jeweled bolt even features some light engraving at the rear of the extractor, on the bolt
handle, and bolt shroud which has its own panel for the “FIRE” position of the safety. Even the magazine follower is engraved with “4 CARTRIDGES”. The floorplate features a raised relief Cape Buffalo surrounded by floral scroll engraving and inlays with “SYNCERUS CAFFER CAFFER” below it and “No 287” on the triggerguard. Mounted in a lightly figured multipoint checkered walnut pistol grip stock with rosewood widow’s peak forend cap, shadowline cheekpiece, engraved fittings, crossbolts, gold inlaid grip cap, “L/W” engraved initial escutcheon, and solid red rubber recoil pad. CONDITION: Excellent as upgraded and embellished by David Miller Co. Retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Stock is also excellent with a couple minor handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics and a crisp reticle. Estimate: 8,000 - 13,000

Dakota Arms Model 76 Bolt Action Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 0139, 280 Rem cal., 23 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured with a sightless barrel, and the receiver fitted with a Leupold Vari-X III 2.5-8 scope. Mounted in a nicely figured multipoint checkered walnut pistol grip stock with blued steel grip cap and Pachmayr recoil pad. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with a few light handling marks and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is very fine with some scuffing on the exterior, clear optics, and a crisp reticle. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,500

Dakota Arms Model 76 Bolt Action Rifle in .375 H&H Magnum - Serial no. 3261, 375 H&H magnum cal., 23 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. The safari barrel features ramped beaded blade front sight with flip up low light bead, sling swivel mounted on a ring in the center, and single leaf express rear sights. “375 H&H MAG” marking on the left side of the chamber. The receiver displays the standard Dakota Arms markings with dovetailed scope bases mounted on top, a polished bolt, and flush fit bolt release. Mounted in a finely contrasting multipoint checkered walnut pistol grip stock with a rosewood nose cap, blued steel grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, and solid rubber recoil pad. Includes a generic hard case and factory test target numbered to gun. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and an attractive plum hue to the receiver. Stock is very fine with limited handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500
