one of 250 commemorative pistols made in
emulation of the Luger 1902 Pistol-Carbine.
This commemorative model appears on the
BATFE Curio & Relic List (Section III, page 43
of the 1972-2025 edition), where it is noted as
a curio and relic firearm with NFA exemption.
Ramp blade front and four-position notch rear sights, with the Mauser crest on the chamber, gold washed
“DWM” on the toggle and model markings on the left side, engraved importer mark and serial number on the right, checkered Schnabel
tip forearm, grip panels, and matching numbered stock. Included with the lot is a leather luggage-style case with room for the pistol,
stock, and following included accessories; extra magazine, cleaning rod, takedown tool, certificate, matching numbered hang tag and
target, and manual.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, showing a plum tone to the sideplate, a few small chips absent from the toe
of the buttplate, and mild handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. Case and accessories are fine overall.

existing bolt pieces of earlier
pistols within the reported
serial number range “P 8001”
to “P 8900” as detailed on page 70 of “Die SIG Pistolen” by H. P. Doebeli. Reportedly, 20-25
of the pistols each sold by Schneebeli (a gun shop in St. Gallen) and Hammerli GmbH in
Tiengen. Importer marked on the bottom of the grip frame. Features fixed blade front
and notch rear sights, Swiss “cross in shield” crest on the rear sight flat, a loaded chamber
indicator on top of the slide, circled “SIG” logo on the left of the slide, and color coded “S/F”
safety selector markings on the left of the frame. Matching serial numbers on the frame,
slide and barrel, with “BP” (Bernerprobe) proofs on the frame and barrel. Fitted with a pair
of ribbed walnut grips. Includes a black leather flap holster with faint manufacturer stamp
on the rear, a black leather suspension strap, and an extra blued magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% original high polish blue finish with some light edge
wear, some limited visible freckling, and limited minor handling marks. The grips are very
fine with some light finish thinning and crisp ribbing. Mechanically excellent. The holster
rig is very fine.

Gold Inlaid Walther “50 Jahre” Limited Edition
Model PP Semi-Automatic Pistol with Case -
Serial no. CW441, 9 mm Kurz (380 Auto) cal.,
3 3/4 inch round bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured in 1980 per the “IA” Ulm date
code on the right of the frame, one of a limited
edition of 500 pistols produced by Walther to
commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Model
PP. Features standard blade and notch sights, 60
degree safety/decocking lever, and gold washed
small parts. The slide has gold wire inlaid 50th anniversary
commemorative markings on the left side and the gold wire inlaid
“CW” prefix serial number on the right. Fitted with oak leaf and
acorn carved grips with the Walther banner at the top. Includes a
matching numbered hardwood Walther display case fitted for the
pistol, a matching numbered June 18, 1980, dated certificate of
authenticity, and an extra magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original bright blue finish and gold inlays with limited minor handling evidence along with
crisp inlays and grip carvings. Mechanically excellent. The case is exceptionally fine.

Features oak leaf pattern engravings with punch-dot backdrops covering the majority
of the slide and 75% of the frame. The frame is marked with “MADE IN GERMANY” on the
right side next to the serial number. Fitted with a set of Walther banner checkered cream
plastic grips and a gold plated magazine. Includes an un-numbered brown Walther PPK
box and an extra gold-plated magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 95% original gold plating with some light edge
wear on the slide and flaking on the hammer, along with crisp engraving and grip
checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with light edge wear.
