Two Cased Heirloom Precision Upgraded,
Master Engraved J. R. French Signed Belgian
Browning High-Power Semi-Automatic
Pistols with Gold Inlaid Initials of Frank
Brownell III and Certificate of Engraving
-A) Heirloom Precision Upgraded Belgian
Browning High-Power Pistol - Serial no.
245N761034, 9 mm Luger cal., 4 3/4 inch round
bbl., blue/gold finish, hardwood grips. Both
pistols in the lot manufactured in 1991 per the
“NZ” date code in the serial numbers (appears
as “N7” on the “A” gun), then subsequently
upgraded by T. R. Yost of Heirloom Precision and
embellished by Master Engraver J. R. French,
with both pistols bearing “T.R. YOST” gunmaker
and “ENGR. J. R. French” engraver markings on
the right side of the grip frames under the grips.
Both pistols feature extensive floral scroll pattern
engraved panels with matted backdrops on
the slides and frames, with gold inlaid “FRBIII”
initials of Frank Brownell III on the right side of
the slides behind the slide serrations. They also
feature fixed 24 Karat gold inlaid bead blade
front and serrated Heinie Slant-Pro notch rear
sights, de-horned edges, flattened and serrated
slide tops, re-crowned barrels, shortened trigger
travel, extended beavertails, hand checkered
front and back straps, beveled magazine
wells, along with niter blue finished screws
and pins. Both fitted with a pair of checkered
Spegel Kingwood grips. Includes a hardwood
presentation case with “FRANK BROWNELL”
engraved name plaque fitted for both pistols,
a set of turn screws and cleaning rod with
Kingwood handles, an Heirloom Precision build
sheet confirming the modifications performed
to both pistols by serial numbers, and a January
23, 2010, dated certificate of engraving signed
by J. R. French confirming both pistols by serial
number as hand engraved and
delivered to “F. R. Brownell III”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall as embellished,
retaining 99% plus blue finish and gold inlays, with limited minor handling evidence, crisp engraving and
grip strap checkering, and captivating grain in the grips. Mechanically excellent. The case is also excellent.
B) Heirloom Precision Upgraded Belgian Browning High-Power Pistol - Serial no. 245NZ55756, 9 mm
Luger cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue/gold finish, hardwood grips. As described in “A”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall as embellished, retaining 99% plus blue finish and gold inlays, with
limited minor handling evidence, crisp engraving and grip strap checkering, along with attractive
wood grain patterning. Mechanically excellent. Overall a very attractive pair of Belgian Browning
High-Power pistols as upgraded by Heirloom Arms and embellished by Master Engraver J. R. French!
